Congrats to town for winning and well played by Mocsta for making it until the end. Overall I think this was a pretty entertaining game with some good plays from both sides. I realize the replacements on day three and night four were controversial and put mafia in a tough position both times. The reason that I went with a replacement rather than a modkill was that the replacement cut off date was not present in the OP. It was removed from newbie games 3-4 years ago due to the high newbie replacement rate. I felt that it would be unfair to arbitrarily change the rules that were already defined when the game started so I enforced the policy that players would be replaced regardless of alignment, game state, or cycle. Thanks to Mocsta for being willing to play it out. Any future newbies that I host will use the standard D3 replacement cutoff unless anyone is strongly opposed. I really enjoyed reading through your thoughts in the scum qt Mocsta. The effort that you put into your posts was really refreshing and you fooled plenty of people into thinking that you were town. Mafia is a game of mistakes, and I do truly believe that the "mderg vote" was the straw the broke the camels back. Without the DF soft-bus heuristic in play, people stopped thinking I was auto-town. | ||
