@ritoky I talked myself around on this a bit. Literally every game I've played with LS he's been inactive, with bad meta reads and links to filters. And every time he has been town. BH makes a good point that you have to try and work out if something is scummy for the person in question, and for LS the stuff that HF pinged out is null. LS' OMGUS drive against HF actually makes me think LS might be town - by reason of the fact that I don't know if LS as Mafia starts pushing HF based purely on OMGUS, who I presume is one of the most experienced players in the game.
HF - his reads are thin and I think his LS read is wrong in particular. He has also kept pushing the TW read long after everyone else had sort of agreed and moved on. I think he probably is at a wedding tho, so his style makes sense in that context. I think it's a null-leaning slightly scummy read, but I definitely wouldn't lynch into him at the moment.
Apart from the actual AFKers, the two people I'm most on at the moment are TW and Conversation, but for different reasons. We've all pinged out his weird read progression on TS earlier, but then when he finally comes back he comes in and gives two lazy-ass reads on me and ritoky (and yes, I know D1 association reads are garbage, but if one of those flips red later the other could be with them). And Conversation thread enters, leaves for almost a day, then comes back in and posts a huge WoT which basically just says nothing about the game at all. It basically flashes "I'm here and I don't care about the game", which is scumtell 101. In a way it's almost too flagrant, but I'm definitely not willing to give the benefit of the doubt at this stage.

Conversion: my reasoning was simple. You thread entered, and then having not posted anything for half a day or so you came back with a long and clearly typed post (#159) (i.e. not just something you bashed out on a mobile) that didn't give any reads and just apologised. At the time I made the post I don't think you had made any game relevant posts. So that is why I said I wasn't going to give you the benefit of the doubt. Obviously there's been a lot of development since I went to bed, and I quite like the indignant but also slightly confused tone of your subsequent posts. Also #200 you say you're "glad Vivax and Grace read you as town". As a new player I'm onboard for that being a genuine dumbtell. TR.
BH is massively overplaying the Grack read. And in fact, BH hasn't done anything outside of his RNG/Grack read. I had the same reaction as Grack did to the onslaught ("wtf?"). Maybe BH is going for the old Chezinu play? But I don't see how that helps as town, particularly in a newbie game. Grack's reads are thin, and I don't like how he seems to soft TW at #249 without pushing it. So I end up where I think they are scummy. Doubt they're scum together, although the amount of shitting up the thread they've achieved could easily part of a plan.
Vivax is pretty town - his post at #181 hit some people multiple times, which is indicative of someone not trying to build a narrative.
I like ritoky's interactions with Conversion - trying to push Conversion to carry on and give reads. (This is something else I liked about Vivax re 187, where he prods BTDT after earlier null reading/asking for more info).
TW continues to be underwhelming. His BH read is garbage, and he now has Tube and Grack as his top towns? Over Vivax? I also think his general tone in the thread has been unhelpful (see #270, #272).

Hmm, seems unlikely TW and HF are teamed. But I'm going to stick with TW I think. Probably clears HF if he flips red.

@HF Clearly you're pushing in the same way as me on some people, but that in and of itself doesn't clear you. I'm still relying on the LS interaction a fair bit, but I admit I read your later stuff with a less critical eye because it didn't seem very weighty. Let me look over your filter again.

(Also I don't buy the LS association with HF at all, that's a bridge too far, even for my apparently conspiracy riddled brain. Like, in what world does Mafia LS go so hard on HF so early? I doubt he has it in him.)

But isn't there a pretty good argument that it was weird that PB took BH's RNG nonsense so seriously? It jarred with me too. It's pretty thin gruel for a scum read. And the rest of your case is pretty garbage - where do you actually come out on your read?

?? Objectively BH's RNG thing is garbage and presumably he does it now to preserve his meta (?). If your point is that PB is a newbie and may not have already seen this before then I guess I could see your point, but (a) that's not what you've been saying and (2) I don't have a sense of whether BTDT could have known that. So it hardly is a good lynchpin for a case... and if you're now walking it back, where does that leave you in terms of your scum team?

@HF I'm not sure BH is a coin-flip. Refusing utterly to engage in the game in a meaningful way - and indeed shitting up the thread with pointless nonsense - that is the most ANTI-TOWN behaviour you can have. Not caring about solving the game is basically the definition of anti-town. It's not even like BH has been mostly afk (like Onegu) he's actively done it.

I mean, since that you've essentially just pushed Conversion and then been extremely whiny. I'm still town-leaning you, but all my reads are sort of crossing over each other, which is making this game very confusing. But if you want someone else to defend you maybe you should start by defending yourself...
