And I still think there's something off about Grack's play. He's unusually moody and when he's being funny as I'd expect him to be, it feels like he's forcing the mood.. The vibe I'm getting from his posts is just not a good one.

I am going to write a slightly more detailed post later today describing what I feel.

I don't really think rayn is mafia, but I'm gonna hedge that bet a bit by saying that I'm mostly giving him a pass for the day. I just don't want to lynch rayn.

well I dont think hes a very easy to read mafia so hes a great rng lynch, some solid day one stuff really that wont be the wrong play ever. Ls same thing but hes really awful here for his standards. Also he will never town read me for the entire game so thats another huge con to keep him around. for the sake of town you know

Holyflare you have to understand that inconsistencies do not make people mafia. In fact it is more likely that a townie is inconsistent than that mafia is (this is obviously a case specific thing but especially on D1 and not much to work with it's way more likely that mafia tries to keep their story straight).

I am not sure if i can explain this more properly than i have before but i will try.
The thing is Grackaroni answered me regarding my concerns about him. Could he do that as mafia? Would he do that as mafia? Sure he could, most likely would. That doesn't however make him mafia. In fact it is more likely it makes him town because his train of thought follows what he says in his posts there.

Now i wouldn't probably even think df is scum if he didn't make the case in a way that he did. Being wrong or making a wrong conclusion of the above is not necessarily scummy. The point here is what darthfoley does is that he doesn't even evaluate the scumminess of the original act. He just contrasts it to meta and expects the "meta" to strenthen his argument even though he doesn't even have an argument in the first place. In a same way i could say for example the following:
- "Holyflare is scum because he asked why Grack is voting for Palmar and he never asks that as town."

Now who the fuck cares if Holyflare has done it as town before or not when the starting point of the argument is completely ridiculous (aka a thing that is not scummy the slightest)??? What darthfoley did there is he took some random argument, has no conclusion about the argument itself and then just painted it scummy "because Grackaroni doesn't do that as town". Furthermore, with a 100% certainty darthfoley has never ever seen me play with Grackaroni before so there should be no expectations on how Grackaroni should react to something i post as either alignment (there is where even the whole meta bullshit falls apart).

I like the idea that maybe there's 1 mafia making puppy eyes, 1 mafia being witty, and 1 playing bad cop or something. The one being witty is tough one and I might be wrong on him. More of a random rambling about what I'm looking into atm.

And if this rayn and HF shitfiesta goes on I'm just going to stop reading both your posts. If you got a case on HF for something in particular put it out there, don't engage and bring it back up later cause he reacts to suspicion compulsively as both alignments. There's just too much stuff being produced while possible little red diamonds remain unnoticed.

The average scum player doesn't make as many mistakes with their reads as town in my experience and if they make them it's cause other townies made them first.

Just woke and I caught up. I think I want to lynch HF the more times I read his posts and him being very nitpicky he actually playing closer to his scum game that he played in the liquidmania qualifier game that I played with him and got mislynched Day 1 after playing mostly horrible Day 1 too. As scum Hf loves to be nitpicky on people as town he not very nitpicky at all. Sorry HF that you had to roll scum again vs me.
