Here I kinda lose him. At first, I thought he founded tonal issues that I founded as well with LS. But in truth, he's talking about the excuse from LS about why he wasn't here. It is different from Onegu's post yes, that we can see clearly. But he is overstressing the "nicey nice" part of the excuse LS made (I use excuse as in why he wasn't here).
Personally, nothing is wrong with that post from LS imo. Its just a "hey sorry was busy and now I am here" post made to reconnect to the thread.
His reasoning on why Onegu post is different, and why he thinks it is townie is fine however.
Overall he has been overstressing things more than they should, which is more AI of a scum player than a town player. But, NU tone as town in previous games is like that. And while he did say he was trying to change his meta, tone and writing style is harder to change than just what you post. He's null/light scum read, but once he posts more content posts (along with everyone else), I will relook.
If that "read" doesn't give you 13 ways to wiggle out of committing to a read, I don't know what does. How many times do you have to say "this is scummy but it's also in his townie meta!" in one post before you get a finger wag? There are so many contradictions and outs he gives himself.
Given the amount of times he claims something to be in his town meta, he doesn't earn his final read of null/slight scum Expect he did.

NU is hard for me to analyze on his tone (something I don’t excel at imo) because of how he behaves normally. He is over the top, loud, etc (proof can be found in previous games + warning he got from the last newbie). On top of that, I only played 1 game with NU when he was scum, and I was inactive/modkilled for inactivity (Cp broke) and didn’t pay attention to how he played.
Moreover, I’ve gotten onto him and incorrectly read him as scum for his tone when he was town. Meaning I knew I had to take that into account in the read. AND Furthermore, I always try to consider both sides of the coin, especially early on. Hell, Koshi earlier in the game pointed it out (wishy washiness) as something I do every game. I personally need to discuss things like that (grey areas) in order to get/lead into a solid read. I will admit, i never was/did follow up as promised. But I did try talking to EC about him shortly after I saw his posts.
It's like if I was to tell you to write a paper about the Pros and cons of….lets say Orap. However, I keep telling you while you write it all the cons of it. This causes a Grey area, since now you cannot type Pros without thinking of the cons, constantly flipping back and forth from side to side.

Not only does this feel kinda like he's trying to twist the image. But it also doesn't make logical sense to say you are experimenting and trying to find a new style for your town play (impaling that your past one didn't work). 1) For point one to be true, a lot of things need to happen.
Lets say I am scum trying to draw out the cop claim. Why do I stop shortly after the claim and discredit my claim (by saying i could be mafia etc.) to where the real cop (which I would known to existed since we would the framer) doesn't have to CC my claim. This ruins my plan of drawing out the real cop, and makes me the center of attention due to the claim.
Also, if my plan was to get the real cop to claim. What is our plan to get passed a save? Oh I get it! We become magical ghost and scare them to death! Maybe have the framer claim doctor, so RB knows who to target?
This plan also only makes sense if I am goon as well. I cannot be any other role, as they are cirtical to sucuess.

The way I handle the claim does not support your idea of me having TMI and having a plan. Not only that, but that said plan was a high risk, low reward plan. Delicately, not my type of plan as scum (high risk high reward.)

I doubt 10 mins is enough in your mind to catch up. My plan was after class to catch up, but other things took my time.
I will admit tho, I never reread Marh (went to bed) nor updated NU read this game. I also will not lie that promises keeping doesn't happen as scum. It has however, also crept into my town play. Just usually I get around to doing most of it as town vs scum that often I just wait for it to blow over.
