Since the voting is private, it probably makes sense to cast your votes in the thread and then if the counts differ from the actual result, it could help narrow down who lied. I think that's too complex especially with this amount of players. Also really only viable if you know the presidents alignments right after the election.

We'd essentially know that 1 out of 2 players was lying at that point. It doesn't matter what gracks alignment is. Plus it's not like people aren't going to share who they want to elect as mayor. Shouldn't be too hard to keep track. We don't have lynches so that's really the only alignment indicative thing we've got. Gracks alignment would tell us why they lied (so it's relevant imo), and then both of them are going to say that they told the truth. Also they would need a reason to lie in before hand and that reason is hidden within the candidates alignments or the voters win conditions.

Any evidence that he's actually not town instead of sloppy town? I am interested into the details of his role still.

There is no lynching and there is no night killing. Everything in the game relies on events and player abilities. Each day lasts 48 hours and the night lasts 24 hours, but there may be abilities and events that change this

Only citizens of the respective nations may vote lol. My suggestion would be that anyone who is soviet/american just claims it for the election and to find their fellow citizens. To anticipate questions about my own nationality, I'll just say I'm neither American nor Soviet and hence can't vote.

And Palmar obviously is going to shape the game as it goes.

But he had political ambitions in a place he wasn't born in, so he certainly would have tried to run for it if he could. And I'm fairly sure there are roles who pretend to be American/soviet when running for pres but actually aren't. Remember that in order to run for office or vote you must be a citizen of America. Any fraud will be punished severely. I doubt that's just for flavour
