My townreads on him were my reads based on our discussion in the QT, which none of you can see. Also in addition to what I started off on him. The QT would "clear" me against the absurd point you're bringing up about the bananas. The condition of the QT is that I have to ensure that Lunaticman survives until end game. I used that opportunity to get the best read on him regardless. My deduction is that if Luna was mafia, then helping him with this objective would be against my wincon.
