It's interesting to me that LightningStrike trying for this goal while actually producing quite little content. He/She has many posts finding an excuse to not call someone scum and even goes so far to post:

Besides not making him/herself an easy townread based on emotions, he/she hasn't actually made any attempt to push content or force through content. I'd surmise that he/she is rather passive as scum. Not a bad lynch.

Short break to say that my two regrets in our last game were #1 not shooting Half the Sky (who was mafia) n1 as vigilante, and #2 not shooting LS (who was town). Seriously. Trying to read LS is like trying to make sense of the weather. Some days it just rains and it doesn't make sense why. You sense logic there, but it is concealed behind layers of nonsense.

Okay, it took my whole lunch break, but I have read through the thread. I'll post my entire notes at the bottom, as I don't have time to fully post before I have to start working again.

The short is that I'm pretty sure Tumbleweed and Gossemerr are mafia.

MAFIA

Gossemerr's posts are pretty mediocre. I hate his read on Race at #287 and his last post at #390 was classic "let's see what happens". As far as I can see, he hasn't done anything useful.

Tumbleweed's entire filter can be summarised as follows: "this person might be mafia, but I'm not sure...". This is classic mafia play. It's so tentative, it's like me every time I try and kiss a girl on a third date.

My guess for third mafia is Artanis. I agree with everything Damdred said about Artanis being vocal and yet pointless at the same time. HOWEVER, I'm less sure on this because I'm not sure I see the value in a mafia Artanis leading a shennany on to me so late.

Race Bannon is town. Ride or die. His post at #208 was spot on viz boxer. His comment at #265 on Artanis was spot on. He's been active and I've agreed with most of what he's said.

DYH is town. He pressured newbies to post early [#180], and I loved his early read on Tumblewood.

I think CHODGE is probably also town as well.

I'm leaning town on Damdred and GB, but I'm much more certain about Damdred than GB. GB has pretty much just shit-posted / over-thought things. But a lot of people have been pushing him. Damdred mod-confirmed me (accurately!) plus I feel the townie vibes generally.

Re Artanis, yeah my very first read was basically as a result of his EOD actions. Which were townie. But I thought his pre-EOD stuff, when I read it, was highly suspect.

Tumble - re it being townie for reconsidering, the context is key. All through D1 you're like "lol, maybe?" On everyone. That's scummy. But reconsidering / ruling people out late is typically more townie than scummy. Which is what confuses me about you and Art.

Also this world where Goss has me and you as town, you have him and me as scum and I have you as scum and him as town is weird.

Hey GB, I'm on the Artanis wagon just as much as you are, but I'm struggling to see why he would lead shennanys onto me at the last minute. That urge to change something up is something I always get as town and that I never get as Mafia.
