A Damage hair follicle can allow a furuncle (boil) to damage the tissue underneath. In extermae cases, they can damage the brain. (I've have never actually heard of a case like that though.) However, it is kinda hard not to notice it and get treatment for it.

Basically, Shape made an observation on virtually the only (little) information he had, and kush drew the conclusion from it and coerced him into making his own conclusion, which was "that's not enough" and labeled backtracking. It's not concerning to me.
