Aside from the Canadians, we have 1-2 Brasilians, 3-4 people in Finland (case in point, the host for this game), and 2-3 Aussies I've seen play in the last few months IIRC. This is largely because of the standard deadline times for most TL games, the vast majority of the time, the moderators default it to 2300 GMT, but some may change it to a US-peak time (in which case, most EU players generally are forced to AFK the deadline) or 1-2 hours around the unofficial default.
edit: this game it appears there is one Aussie though.
First one I've seen from Africa though. Welcome in any case.

For your sake, you better hope that Fidei doesn't replace in. Policy lynch inbound if he does.

Also newbies, regardless of alignment, I tell you one thing - USE YOUR COACHES, they are there for a reason

rofl, I know Fidei isn't a fan of Onegu's playstyle. And Onegu is a super trolly player xD

We should use UTC rather than GMT.

Most people on TL are civil. Some moderators are a bit strict and will crack down on people if they are over the top. Palmar might come off interesting if he's mafia, but the 1-2 people most likely to go off the rails on this site are quite unlikely to play in newbie games, the few people I have in my mind are not on this playerlist.
If another newbie goes nuts, he/she will be told off I'm sure.

Ah, I know this causes problems for when a game runs into DST changes....but don't the timestamps on TL/time tags correct for this anyhow? Right now UTC = GMT but yeh not all countries use it...

No. When you get your role PM you will get a link to a QT (Quicktopic) which allows you to commute with your coach.
Qt's will also be provided for scum to talk to each other and for Obs (and dead players).

Yes. This. If you are scum, newbies will have the scum QT (a veteran/open scum will not have coaching but still has to talk to you) and you will still have an individual coaching QT so that Alakaslam can teach you how to play the game.
There are no masons in this game, but masons will have a mason QT in non-newbies.

I still don't know the fundamental meaning of Chupazi and Hijole after all this time other than that Slam uses those words all the time.
