Considering joining, but what are the rules like about new vs experienced players in this game? It looks like there's a lot of non-new players signed up, but it seems like it might be better to just get the game started?

Edit: I don't think there have been any post count restricted games in a while, and I personally don't think that they're a good idea any more given my experience with them. I'd rather just play a normal game that doesn't have as many posts, but is focused and (most importantly) has people working together instead of pointless arguments that take up 20+ pages.

Normally for newbie games we try to have 5-6 slots be for newer players, however this game has been up for almost a month so getting this game started is the priority right now.
We should be starting this weekend I think...

HtS is the only onw to have hosted one that I know of.
I do like the idea of post restricting newbie games though, keep it from being a spam fest and scareing off newbies who weren't prepared. Though I feel like there is more of an issue with people being very inactive rather than too spammy
There is also an issue of restricting posts being too restricting for new players who might need to talk things out a little more (course thats what coaching is for as well). In general it's hard to find what is the right balance.
Maybe if there is interest I can try hosting a post-restricted game here sometime after this game. I def didn't mind doing the counting for it in HtS's game I cohosted.
