I don't think that Damdred should have claimed, but I think he knows that. I sort of don't think that we should have lynched scott31337 even with the claim, but hindsight is 20/20, and it's likely that that's just the correct play anyway and I'm just stupid.
Honestly, I still think that lynching rsoultin might have been best, but I never really got a chance to take a close look at scott31337's filter (I just couldn't really get anything about his alignment from his posts, and J Roc's posts felt meaningless to me as well).
I don't think that Damdred's claim says that much about his alignment, and I really don't know about him, but now that he has claimed he will probably be easily resolved one way or the other in the near future. If he's town, I really really really hope that he provides some good analysis, as I'm having a lot of trouble this game. Please, Damdred?
Marvellosity is more than capable of playing like this as mafia, and that would very nicely explain a lot of things, but after rolling mafia last game that just feels so unlikely that I think I'm willing to ignore that possibility for now.
I'm kind of suspicious of raynpelikoneet, as he's a very strong player but I didn't really see that in his play today. His pushes weren't bad, but I don't think that he created a healthy atmosphere.
I still have no clue why people are scumreading GlowingBear, I've tried to explain why I am confident that he is town. If you want to, his filter length in this game is a huge contrast to his filter length in the last two mafia games (pages/day), and he's on vacation here. I know that filter length isn't a terribly reliable method of getting reads, but it's a clear and quantitative thing that supports my general view of GlowingBear's play.
There are just too many posts in this game, I am not really able to keep up with everything as I would like. Everyone else plays at such a fast pace.... That's another reason I wish we had lynched rsoultin, then I would have a much better chance at keeping up XD

I made a big post with the timeline I didn't understand maybe 12 hours ago I first scumread rsoultin as a joke. Then I saw something that made me suspicious of rsoultin, and was giving a bit of extra attention to her posts. I saw something else that made me suspicious of her, hence the two reasons I had to be suspicious of her (which I posted at two separate times). Eventually I shared one of the reasons, and then realized that it wasn't very good. Then rsoultin quoted a post that reminded me of the other reason, so I posted that too, but as I was typing it up I realized that it was flawed (as rsoultin demonstrated). Then I was sort of null on rsoultin, but kept the vote as a joke.
I didn't think that rsoultin's read change on marvellosity was suspicious, but I found her reaction to the push and several of her subsequent posts to be very suspicious, many as one-off posts, and a few general trends (specifically I got the impression that she was grasping for straws and trying to look for as many alternate lynches as possible). Though closer to the deadline, her posting seemed much more focused and more like I would expect from her as town there. I'm somewhat suspicious of her, but I don't really know.....
The main problem I believe you have been having is that you don't think that I could forget my reason for being suspicious of rsoultin. If you think that I would do that as mafia and I would never do that as town, good for you. But I was playing in a Starcraft tournament at the time, and I decided from basically the start of the game that I was going to read everything again more carefully, I was just posting for fun. It's nice to have fun, once in a while, because sometimes the games turn into a yelling match (as shown) and you can't really have casual conversation with anyone

Also, he called marvellosity irrelevant, and that is quite towny, I think. I'm willing to assume that marvellosity is town.
If rsoultin is town, I guess I'll trust her read on raynpelikoneet here. Just for simplicity. So raynpelikoneet is town, regardless of rsoultin's alignment.
There were several posts that rsoultin made where the tone strongly suggested to me that she is town. My tone reads are terrible, but combine that with some general impressions I got from a Skype chat a while back about mafia, and that she doesn't really like playing mafia, and that if she is mafia she would have been extremely frustrated by raynpelikoneet, it just seems like rsoultin is town. Except for the push on GlowingBear. That's the most significant problem I have with rsoultin at this point, I just cannot see any of the things that she says about GlowingBear. And while I didn't prove any inconsistencies in her thought process, I wasn't completely satisfied by her explanations (notably the explanation with regards to her early read on sicklucker)...
I still want to townread LightningStrike for his early posting, but excuses or no, his posting patterns did fit a mafia motivation.... He got townread by post people early on, and then his activity levels dropped off sharply. I don't like him asking to get lynched instead of rsoultin, but I'm not convinced that it is mafia indicative I suppose. I guess he's probably just town.....
I don't know about Rels. Sometimes he seems reasonable, but I feel that he lacks thread presence. Which is strange because he actually has a fairly long filter. And some of his posts I remember thinking were very unreasonable. I need to figure out why I don't feel much thread presence from him, it may just be that he's being covered up by marvellosity, raynpelikoneet, and rsoultin, or there may be a more interesting reason.
I don't really know about MoosyDoosy and sicklucker. I don't feel confident in reading either of them, their thought process differs so much from my own. I feel like sicklucker's been townread a lot for bad reasons, though... Apparently there was a sicklucker smurf game recently? I thought that the smurf was not sicklucker, though?

I'm referring to the part where you made an early push on rsoultin and said that you'd never ever done an early push as mafia. There is zero reason why you couldn't do an early push as mafia, if I am capable of it, then you are definitely capable of it.

We had a different read. I asked you to explain why. You said reasons for him being mafia that were the exact opposite of the reasons I had (which I saw very clearly) for him being town. I said this, you didn't respond. I continued to ask different people, eventually providing at least one example, and I kept looking for any sign whatsoever of the things that were mentioned as scummy, but I kept seeing the opposite. And you and the rest of the people scumreading GlowingBear never bothered to show me your perspective.
Of course that gives me pause..... It doesn't mean you have to be mafia but it worries me.
