I've been thinking this, but then I feel weird that I'm being forced to pay for a feature that used to be free and that I only intend to use because of these subforums.
Not that I think TL is money grabbing here, but still it's weird that a design change to the site removed a feature that was pretty important to a (albeit small) part of their own community.

Well what I'm thinking of doing is getting filters by tl+ and copy pasting them into some form of link for everyone else that I can update or anyone can.
Would be cool if xata vote tracker could somehow sort everyone I not filters though. I'm sure there is someone more tech savy than me who can figure out how to do it pretty easily.

The only reason I'm tolerating this game is because it's supposed to be short and filters won't be super necessary.
There's literally no reason to play mafia on TL anymore if I have to pay because I can just get everything for free elsewhere.

Implying that going somewhere else because services are cheaper/better than what's offered is somehow dramatic.
It's just business. I play mafia on plenty of other sites so I don't really have a problem not playing on one of them.

I actually like the fact that the filter is gone, makes the game much better, forces people to actually read the threads :D

On small threads (I believe up to 100 pages it's allowed if you don't have TL+) you can just hit the 'all' tab and ctrl+f the player's name that you're looking for.
It's how I quickly scan threads to see if anyone's talking about me lately.

Um, some of the better town players usually find it necessity to read the full thread AND filters of specific players. Could you imagine ctrl+f in TL LXX or Imperial?
Also having filters in certain situations make my life as a moderator easier.
