A lot of people have different tools to catch Mafia by saying Mafia are usually passive, inactive, bla bla bla, and I'm asking if being illogical is one of the traits. Is it?

I mean if you asked everyone what makes mafia most people won't even agree. In a real game if you genuinely ask that half the people won't bother answering you even. It's also honestly mostly only obvious how a particular player plays as scum (or town) in hindsight.
So what matters more than having good reads is the ability to convince townies to go your way, if you think your way is good, and MOST importantly, convince everyone you are town. Fake claiming, throwing around suspicions willy nilly, throwing around reads willy nilly, is a great way for everyone to think you are scum because your in-thread opinions change on such a whim and at such little precedent that it looks like you're scum just trying to get something to stick. Lots of people will see that and overlook any other traits that may make you look townier because they miss the forest for the trees.
When you realize that most people are just willing to jump on lowest common denominator (gonna use LCD here) lynches, then you need to make YOUR lynch into an LCD lynch; something everyone will agree on. That's how I get people lynched as either alignment and it works surprisingly well. It also works to get people OFF lynches if you explicitly show how someone is the LCD at a particular moment in time. e.g. if I were town this game I would've vehemently defended BF and LS just like I did this game because they are two players who are at risk for being that type of lynch.
The problem of course is that here you have to assume your read is good to lead a lynch like that. If you fuck it up you lose credence but you simultaneously need the confidence to know you won't get lynched for it. So it's a 3 part thing-Have good reads, convince people you are right, and don't be wrong.
