Also, I'm starting to come around to Snickers being mafia. I thought Snickers was new and was kinda giving him a pass for it, but the difference between the posts Koshi quoted from his town game and from this one are night and day. And once the thread moved away from him, he kinda disappeared from it. That bothers me, because the sample Koshi quoted makes me think I should expect more.

Speaking of... Koshi, how did you come away with a town read on Snickers after posting the sample you did? That seems like the opposite conclusion one should get.

The compromising-QTs thing is pretty cool, but I have a feeling it's not going to lead anywhere. I won't say why until it doesn't though, because if you did catch someone, I don't want to give them an out.

But I think this is a pretty cool move, and it probably makes Kurumi town. Nothing about it can't be done as mafia, and he even acknowledged beforehand that he made the QTs prior to knowing his alignment, but he didn't have to followup on it if he were mafia. I didn't even get my QT invite until about 5am today (CST), so I know he actually started this work after getting his role, which again, pretty townie.

yeah I thought it was more than one unique view. If it's just one that really doesn't say much. Assuming Onegu is afk mafia and using that as a basis to spring the play is bad play.

I think it still makes Kurumi town though. I can see where, if he believes Onegu is afk mafia, it would make sense to him to spring it after one unique view. It's incorrect, but it doesn't make him mafia to me. And the sequence as a whole looks townie to me.

OK caught up, sorta. I still don't get the exact specifics of what happened, but it's still pretty evident to me that Kurumi is town and goofed his reveal. It's not impossible that he can do this as mafia but it's not something I see much compelling evidence for.

Eagerly awaiting Oats's explanation for why four people saw the QT though (if that's what happened).

well the first thing I'm curious about is

since Kurumi named VE as a potential breach in one of his QTs...

But more to it, that seems like standard LightningStrike. Caveat that I've never played with him when he's been mafia, but this is his style as town. Overreliance on meta like this:

<LightningStrike> I see him doing that more as Town than Mafia but than again I had never played with Lian when he was Mafia (shrugs) but it shows he actually thinking about the game but he didn't really follow up much in the thread though

is pretty much exactly what I expect to see. I'm curious to see the outcome of the leaks talk though b/c he was named as a potential leak.

That reminds me, where is sicklucker? He's not really doing much of anything this game, which would be surprising if he's town.

Does geript argue like that as mafia? My impression is that when he gets angry and dug into his trenches like he has with Kurumi here, he's town, and that when he's mafia he tends to avoid tunneling much. The reason I dont like Koshi's read on Snickers is that Koshi is doing the exact same thing and complaining about no content and asking people to produce content.

You must have missed the part where geript says "No way you do this as town" then - I thought it was pretty clear that geript thinks Kurumi is mafia for this and is zeroed in on it. Seems tunnely to me because he's ignoring the possibility that you were the source of the leak. (Were you?)

Second part is pretty true, but it doesn't change anything about Snickers himself. I think Koshi's done more than Snickers pretty easily. Koshi dropped some info about LS, he's been questioning Kurumi about his plan for the game, and he brought up Snickers himself. Snickers hasn't done anything beyond calling random things bullshit without offering any analysis or potential suspects or anything.
