2) Because he thought he found a bone to pick on. It's too early to say whether that's because he just wants a target or because he legitimately believes he has something here. All I remember from Ritoky is his USA USA USA campaign in Cell.
3) I don't have enough information to say that one way or the other.
4) Telling people to do something constructive when you're not doing anything constructive yourself is not pro town. It's stating the obvious whilst not doing it yourself. Chyz has not asked any questions. He's not trying to solve the game.

Well, I find his play pretty acceptable. Saying that he is not trying to solve the game is a big overstatement. He is trying to solve the game with the information he has, he just isn't trying to create more information/content in the thread. I like his Eden read, it is thought out, shows he is following the thread. I like his conclusion on the Dr.H. & ritoky chain. And that is enough for me to see him as possible town.
I know you are used to play with great and awesome players like myself and myself. But I think you are being too though on TheChyz.

Maybe you're right. I just always have a strong averse reaction to people saying "go do something useful" whilst not doing something useful. It rustles my jimmies, so to say.

Two things Dr.H. said. First thing was about geripts buddying to Dr.H.
The second thing was that geript just came by this morning to say "Koshi you are pretty awesome" after I made that post on Eden.
And I guess I am missing some geripts starpower in this game. Kelsier his case was pretty good as well.

@Artanis. It's because he's generally just an asshole bully when he's mafia; like his level of assholery is significantly higher as mafia than as town. Also, when you look at his posts, he's struggling. TheChyz read is a good example. Chyz is probably town and none of the things that DrH posted about make Chyz anything other than maybe annoying. Also the reaction is similar to what I remember of his town play when he came back in Sicilian and in my first game with him in LIX (I think that was it).

Because of NYE, I will only be able to be active for a few hours today. Tomorrow I'll have more time though. Chyz looks scummy. Though I do think people are attacking him for the wrong reasons. The discussion between DH and rikoty WAS stupid. But if you look at Chyz opening post, he doesn't give any actual opinion about the players involved other than that rikoty should move on. Nowhere does he speak about their alignment.

I am not saying that it is impossible for mafia to do. But if he is doing it as mafia I would have expected that TheChyz would try to gain cred from it somehow. Or formulate his words otherwise. His post just doesn't scream mafia to me. It isn't forced. It isn't overdramatic. It's a good post.

Its not necesarily wrong with making a post saying that a discussion is stupid. The problem is when the only post you have is a post calling a discussion stupid. Why is it, after all the of the discussion and multiple people calling out rikoty, that all Chyz did was saying that the discussion was stupid? Just like Artanis said, why say "do something usefull" and proceed to do nothing yourself?
Granted, he did put up some reads later but only after he was called out.
Don't you think there is a scum motive in trying to look active while not really pushing the thread forward? Because I would argue that is what Chyz did.

100% as in I've never read him wrong as town. As for mafia or not, idk for sure yet. He is the only vet that I'm not leaning town on currently. We can be friends Artanis, but watch out after I flip people will call you scummy for buddying me. Best to leave that vote where it is wink wink.
