SL, your POV doesn't matter because we have no idea what your alignment is. Town needs to reduce the chances of a miss-lynch. By forcing mafia to put KP on someone unconfirmed we statistically increase the chances of winning the game, effectively going from 1/4 hit chance to 1/3. Not to mention that it gives quite a bit of information. If Breshke is still alive tomorrow we don't need to sleep, because there is a universal agreement that Breshke is confirmed town, and as such will never get lynched. Hence we don't necessarily need to sleep then.
