marv bats and lian succeeded on day 1. Day 2 you got added in and it failed.
Unless you have a solid proof that soemone else from that team is mafia, then the simplest explanation is that you're mafia.

Anyway, its way too simplistic to think that way. Scum in the first group might wait just to sucker people that think like this. You cant tell someone's alignment off one thing, its a combination of things. Statistically, its way risker than 2 from the previous failed group and 2 from outside.

Like if you're somehow town Oats, you know one of the three is mafia, so I guess no matter your alignment you're going to have to assume one of them is.

I had some brilliant thought this morning on how to eliminate things if I assume at least two of my townreads are right. I can't remember but I'll try to remember.
Anyway, early notice. I will pick the following team: Palmar, Marv, Lian, Batsnacks. I think I am the 5th option so my team will be auto accepted. If anyone doesn't like this team, you better make sure BH picks whatever you like.
The wild card here is marv (and to a lesser extent, batsnacks). I'm fairly sure lian is town. My assumption is that 3 out of slam/bh/oats/damdred are mafia. I actually think BH is the most likely to be town of them. Slam wouldn't scumread me at this point if he was town, and Oats is the one who was added to a team that caused a failed mission.

When in doubt I tend to go back to my early reads. Right from the start of the game I've thought lian is town. By this point if he's mafia the game is lost.
I also think marv is town. I mentioned it early. The only real problem with him being town is that he thinks I'm mafia, but I guess it's fair that I haven't really done all too much this game. Still, things like the little things I picked up on in his play (why I initially was okay with including him on my first team) should be more telling to him that I am town. But maybe he's just lazy. Still, if there was a townie on the day 1 team, then it's going to be marv, I think.
I can't remember why I decided early on that bats is probably town. I really should go back and figure that out. But I do remember feeling him to be pretty solidly town.
And then there's the fact that the mission succeeded...
To me, all that is needed and has been needed to finish this game in a victory, ever since day 2, is to simply include me in the team. And I got annoyed and lazy because people didn't townread me. People _always_ scumread me and it's getting really boring. Like the game is essentially solved from my perspective.
So yeah, I'm naying this, and I'll be defaulting to me/lian/bats/marv.

yes BH, but I cba figuring out who is town. It might be you, or it might be slam. hell it might even be damdred.
It's just so much easier for me to assume day 1 (which was my top 3 townreads outside of me) was actually successful, and add myself.
Maybe I'm super awful and marv and bats are both mafia, but whatever. I think this is the correct play.

I'm going to pick my team as stated. Seeing as it will autopass I guess it's on my head. All I can hope for is that I was correct on my reads. Batsnacks is my 2nd strongest townread after lian, the one I'm worried about is marv. Of course I could be wrong, but meh. To be honest I don't care all that much at this point. At least I've been consistent in my reads since day 1, and I think I agree with myself. Given the fact that I am super smart, it makes sense to agree with myself. Even if this fails we still have a decent shot, as long as people don't randomly paint me mafia if this one fails (although I kinda did that to oats, but he deserved it).

BH's team got accepted, supported by 5 players.
Did mafia want that team to succeed because they didn't like mine? Mafia has no incentive to stop BH's team going through. They do have incentive for pushing it through, only if my team is actually clear of mafia.
