I'm also a vanilla town, not a 3P. Soniv doesn't seem like a 3P to me, he's been far willing to generate new discussion, which is where people usually start going towards neutrals.

You know what role is missing here? Busdriver. Best neutral in any mafia game ever. He selects two people every night and they switch places. If person A is supposed to be rolechecked, then person B is checked instead. If person A is targeted by the mafia, person B dies instead. And so on. Pretty damn fun, and you can carry games if you're smart.
But that's just a side-thought I had for potential future games.

I agree he shouldn't be considered a lurker (like he's not mord level or anything) but he hasn't said anything to convince me to move my initial vote. I'll reread Soniv's filter but I feel like's he's played better despite Jeff claiming they've been doing the same stuff. I think he's indisputably played better, that's why you have to even check his filter at all to realize other than his Requizen vote he hasn't actually done much of anything (short of calling out Wave for his playstyle repeatedly, and defending himself). This is basically the same for me, except I haven't been as long-winded about it so it's easier to see that I've been doing it.

Also, Mordek I've noticed you have never really proofed anything. I went through your filter and every other post it seems like you're talking about "a gut feeling" or a "town vibe" from people. You need to have some more original thoughts, because pretty soon you're going to be on the lurker spotlight.
Actually this is really suspicious and I want to get more out of you, because you've done nothing but trying to stay politically correct from the backlines, so consider this a caution vote to get your attention
##Vote: Mordek

Soniv, you're missing the point with the connections thing. It's not that it makes you look more scummy. You already look scummy and I didn't have to prove that. I was telling you how we learn the most out of anyone (by far!) by your death here.
|
I already said, I voted Mordek to try and get something out of him, and that I'll probably move back to Soniv if nobody decides that he (Mordek) is worth looking into.
|
Oh good so basically TL;DR my reasons for everything is that I'm bad
A lot of people are newbies in this game, but you're one of the last people not actually catching on.
I don't necessarily buy that.

How is saying Soniv played better than me noob-claiming? He did, and I think everyone else would agree. I haven't done noob-claiming since D1, and my posting has improved greatly since then.

One question before I decide to move off Mordek yet or not is whether or not mafia know each other from the beginning of Day 1, or if they have to wait until nightfall to know.

In the brief periods of time where I haven't had to constantly defend myself, I was doing a couple other things, like looking through the forgotten lurkers like Mordek. I found some stuff, talked about it, and had a couple people agree with me. I said it wasn't anything more than a vote meant to get Mordek talking rather than distracting people or lynching people.
After that though, I noticed that OWB switched his vote again. He's actually done this a large number of times day one; he's got a very fast trigger that he's been pulling. I remember saying he was a lurker, and then him immediately deflecting it by acting appalled that I'd suggest it and then snap-voting against me. He seems very eager to get on a bandwagon early, so that he can be on the train but never arouse suspicion. He never actually instigates anything, and almost never posts anything but defense (or his quick switches).
That said, I'm willing to take my vote off of Mordek now. Soniv is still Scummer #1 in my book, but OWB's flipping is damn suspicious and he's also been very unproductive. Asmo too has been sketchy, though to a lesser degree.

I claim VT, Tolkien is VT, MoonBear is VT, and Wave claims VT.
Just to keep track of VTs

Wave's claim was in his semi-trolly opening post too. It's more helpful for me so that I can go look in my filter and check if I need to. I'll keep track of other claims as we go on and actually get to the point where it's useful (If I'm even alive then lol).

I think the Req wagon was justified in that Req has been spouting dodgy things the entire game. Honestly even though I believe Soniv is scum, I don't think we can pin anything down off of that move. Req is a serious wild-card right now, especially with his absence due to OP IRL issues. It was certainly a safe vote for him, but there's little we can read going into that move. If he pulled his vote on me to go for Mordek, that would raise serious alarms, but he didn't.
|
You mean WHEN I flip town.
OWB I meant today, not day 1. Mistype. But dude you've been flipping three times, and every time there's little explanation. Two of those times closely mimic Wave, but with a short little paragraph talking about how it was what you thought all along, etc.
If I get lynched, people are going to need to take a serious look at you when I flip green. You could just be an awful player, but I give the benefit of the doubt on that one, I think you're intentionally riding coattails, while trying to make it seem like you're doing this independently. You've had very VERY little impact on the game thus far, despite your defenses.

There it is again Mordek. Right after you talked about it.
"I still feel this way."
and then nothing else.
|
I feel like we pulled off Mordek too quickly. I'm not sure I was satisfied with his explanation. But he's only on my radar, not on my most wanted. Also I realized I haven't voted yet so I'm getting that off my chest ##Vote: jcarlsoniv but even though he's my #1, my vote is still up for grabs if OWB or Asmo start acting up.
I think Coma is really suspicious as well, but voting him is not too effective, because the chance he's scum isn't worth totally wasting a lynch just yet.
|
I was writing that before I saw that Mordek voted me. I don't know why you think you can get along in this game by posting your vibes but never actually reading anyone, and then voting for me when I call you out on it to ignite a bandwagon. You've moved up my list a lot right there.
|
Mordek your filter is actually totally atrocious. You have one post that's even decent, and the rest is just unproven stuff that you bandy about to seem like you're keeping pace and helping. You've stopped lurking but you're still doing the same shit. So I guess I have a question or two: Why are you still posting like this? Do you still have no idea what a good post is, or do you just not want to invest enough time to really think about things?
