That said, even though ketchup is the one pushing back on Wave's play the most, I also think he's town. I can see how Wave's play could seem abrasive and confusing to newer players so I think ketchup is just seeing it as scum play even though sometimes it takes a strong hand to lead the town in the right direction. As far as scum goes I currently believe Asmo is scum. He's been fairly vocal but I don't think he's really contributed much of note. His actions around the lynch just seems a little off too. He switched off Ghandi just because of his long impassioned post that didn't really have that much substance. I think he felt comfortable pushing MB because it was clear a lot of people agreed it was a fine lynch and he could easily fall back on the defense of "he was a lurker anyway" when MoonBear flipped town. He did push MB early, but that was done to call him out for being a lurker which, again, can easily be defended. Pushing lurkers is important but it can also be a tactic for scum to actively look like they are doing town work. Also I don't like his post after the lynch. Just seems like he's trying to play up the fact he's a noob and his actions should be pardoned because he went about the first night wrong. Just rubbed me the wrong way. | ||

There is still the posibility that both are scum, but it's not likely as someone has stated before. Atleast I remember reading it I'm not sure who said it. I'm going to sleep on it for now, I'll have a better look come morning. | ||

You guys were all discussing what to do if MB didn't show up, whether to lynch + modkill or just kill MB. Then MB came and voted, making the discussion moot. Wave says "stfu about that now, let's talk about relevant stuff", and then ketchup pulls this "nu-uh, you're not my mom" bullshit. There's nothing wrong with trying to refocus the thread back towards the impending vote once the modkill was no longer going to happen. This doesn't make me think ketchup is scum but it's definitely not helping us to jump down Wave's throat in an instance when his direction is obviously legitimate. | ||

He has also made enough posts to get a feel for him I also agree with your view about Asmo's after lynch post. It felt very forced in an overly dramatic way. | ||

If you noticed in the time line, I actually did drop anything related to moonbear being mod killed after I noticed he came back. You can check again if you don't think so. I then focused on trying to get moonbear to give me more information, but he didn't respond too much afterwards. I was hoping to get more information from him. To me, the situation was resolved since moonbear actually posted. I was sincerely afraid of a mod kill + day lynch since it was 1hr45min before the day end that I posted the scenario. It didn't help that there was a new vote train going on Ghandi at the time. | ||

I'm not talking about Wave's vote on MB at all. I'm talking about him giving any semblance of momentum to anything other than MB (in this case, LT and Jeff) - just look at the voting patterns late D1. But it's a bit of a moot point right now since the bear bled green. I don't like last minute vote switches. I made a gut call and I was incorrect, but I'm much happier to do that than to comply with Wave causing chaos at the last minute. | ||

Here's what I've been thinking, I have two major possibilities that I believe in, One where either Soniv or Wave are scum. This make sense if you read more about their play on the moonbear lynch. Wave is the only one of the two that mentioned the possibility Moonbear turning up blue, which he did not, which shows a more town facing role in trying to get the lynch away from moonbear. Soniv however, expressed thoroughly that he thought moonbear would flip red which shows an agressive town approach in trying to hunt and get the right lynch on D1. Both of them come to the same agreement, which while wrong on the town facing side, both write it off as "acceptable" losses due to how Moonbear "played" or acted. At the moment they both seem to have conflicting points of view while also not really drawing any hate for the actions at one another. This could also just be a rouse and BOTH could be Scum due to the following point, Wave early in his posting, mentions his "Pre Game" strategy with Soniv in TS. I may be completely in the wrong for thinking this, but that phrase doesn't sit right with me in game with so much information being gleamed from every word. I Part of me thinks this was just the decided code on how they can mention the quickthread, but that's really loose reasoning. Most likely Paranoid, but it felt like something worth bringing up on N1. With Moonbear actually turning up VT, we can't really glean any useful information as most of his posts don't really go anywhere. Either circular or just nothing in them. I don't really feel like giving any other reads right now due to night kills likely being decided. I don't think I'm on it? But if Scum has a poisoner I could see me being the target. | ||
