If all town are honest about their claim, then it will end in 3-2 and we start with nothing at all. The only way to force a 2-3 or 4-1 claim is to be dishonest about my role in order to mislead the anti-town. To everyone else that's not VE, if VE is anti-town and his claim was based on what was currently claimed, then you can thank me for confirming FF as town. If I rolled boxer, I would do exactly the same thing and claim OV. The two possible scenarios are 3-2 or 4-1. If it ends up being 3-2, it will confirm two people as town and the game ends up really easy. If it's 4-1, I rescind my claim immediately, and we get a little information out of it, and there's no harm done. I don't know why you tried to argue against my plan assuming that if I rolled Boxer it will be a 4-1 split instead of a 3-2 split. Both scenarios are possible. In this current game, it's a 4-1 split, which is the best case scenario, but you ignored the best case scenario completely, even though it happened right in front of your eyes. | ||

GB had an anti-town read on FF, me, and VE. He jumped straight to conclusions and says the game is almost solved, without making cases on us or trying to convince others. This says he wants to jump on people without getting them lynched. GB also plays a bit weirdly, like not to his previous town-meta or scum-meta, and also drunk posting. This says he's trying to make us take him less seriously. Less likely for us to lynch into the people he ever reads. However with someone of GB's skill level, this doesn't seem likely. I would imagine that jester would just play to their scum meta; subtle enough for people not to think it is forced, and obvious enough that people would scumread him. I don't see a jester playing jester this hard. I think it's more likely that GB is the mafia. My read on him right now is about 50% mafia, 30% jester, 20% town. | ||
