The whole point of A B C D E is that it's random. Cells were randomly assigned, so going in alphabetical order is honest RNG. Voting Marv, who does not want cell order to be random, would be voting against my platform.
Plus I'm really, really bad with compromises.

Because even if I'm mafia it's not me choosing. It's random.
If we let a mayor choose the order, then they could be scum, and would put the groups they feel the least confident about winning last. That would be highly desirable for scum. By letting the cell order be random, this possibility is eliminated, and by making the cell order alphabetical the possibility of the mayor rigging a RNG order is eliminated.
