I think you should remove me and marv from today's lynch-list and look at other possibilities.

I've already explained why it's very risky to lynch marv today (huge loss if he's town, maybe even blue) and besides he's most likely absorbing a bullet tonight anyway. If not, then he has more time to use his analysis / role OR he'll be lynched for being alive / not really achieving much for that long. It's just better to postpone judgment on him.

As for me, well, I'm VT and I haven't really achieved that much yet. But it should be pretty evident from my play that this is not how I play scum. You only need to take a look at any of my scumgames. I never post freely in the thread whatever I'm thinking as scum.

This post has convinced me of a few things

Oh, and to this (forgot to post earlier):

I had a similar problem in Golden Sun where I just couldn't find great (or even decent) lynches. Although in that game it was made worse by the conversion mechanics. Here that problem doesn't exist, but I guess all the scum are pretty good at avoiding errors / blending in.

I don't think I can make a good case atm. There are various slightly suspicious posts by several people but nothing really truly stands out. At least in my opinion, at the moment. That's kind of why I'd want to the safe route and lynch someone like VA (okay chance of being scum, nothing lost if town).

Marv said he was busy today and i told him i refuse to play in a game that is full of outright terrible behaviour. He didn't really mind because he agreed.

Everyone is pushing the VA scummy thing but for some reason the scum play 1000x outweighs the more than likely town play. If batsnacks had any thought about reading this game he could have not claimed, mafia wouldn't know who vig was and batsnacks could claim if va didn't die. If va did die he could have easily real claimed then too. So why is it that cr et al vekieve the really farfetched mafia play instead?

In fact koshi linked all these fake claims and they all ended up being fake rb's which is nothing like this but multiple ppl lapped it up. Also the poimt about rayn calling obi an asshole is so terrible because it's contained in one sentence and then completely dropped. Obi also never follows up his scum read on rayn and totally is playing to world cup standard of doing nothing. He was on waves stream instead of playing here too a day or two ago. He is disinterested.

Btw ObiWan defended VA earlier and I think it makes him a bit more likely town. Basically limiting his options of mislynching for no real reason unless VA is his teammate.

Still not sure about VA, but I think he's null at best, and quite potentially scum. He's a lot more reserved than I've seen from his town play, plus he's made list posts that apparently fits his scum play..... Maybe.

I don't have a solution to winning this game right now and I'm not going to pretend to. If I see something that makes me gun really hard for someone, you bet your ass I will. But I don't see anything superscum as of right now.

I don't understand why you put so much effort into trying to kill me/pressure me every single time you roll town. If I have a really good read and I want to be heard, you'll hear it.

Though, for the sake of contributing, I will say that lynching VA at this point should be considered nothing more than a policy lynch for doing nothing. If we're actually lynching him for fakeclaiming and rescinding, that's like epicmafia levels of derp. People do it all the time there and I don't see any difference between then and now.

I really need someone to walk me through it and I don't feel like CR's explanation was good enough to warrant my vote. If we can find scummy shit besides the supposed fakeclaim, then yeah, I might be able to get behind it. I just don't see it as alignment indicative and this lynch feels kinda lazy.

Vivax's scumread on me earlier in day 1 felt really contrived, and in hindsight, I have no idea why I let him talk me out of pushing him when he started posting a bunch of generic advice like "do this to be read as town, or don't and be scum," or, "push your lynch target," etc etc. A bunch of people are townreading him because of meta, and I'd like that explained to me at some point.

Though I will admit that my vote on Marv is nothing more than an OMGUS because his lists/reasonings are really lazy and I'd prefer to not die. I guess that makes me kinda selfish. He looks nothing like the domineering, impactful player that he was in Order, either.

I actually intended to give you next to nothing but I guess I kind of rambled about some stuff.

Yea my phone cut me of while I was trying to write more I guess, but I really dislike Xat and his gentle prodding towards another target even though he doesn't provide one. I really hate how most of Xatalos posts are like this gently prodding towards a much weaker target at that point in the thread (granted its me or VA at that point in the thread).

Chopin pushed off ofXatalos earlier in the game so he wasn't lynched now Xat is pushing off of him, its really possible hes just repaying the favor i'm just convinced one is scum at the moment. If not both. However i'm convincing myself to unvote Chopin now....I am going to filter dive him where he says and look elsewhere I want to see what I can find before i put my vote back on him..
