Just one assumption. You have to look at the flavour of the role too. A detective isn't suddenly going to get KP when they're scum. Survivability abilities for a veteran role make sense. A busdrive ability for an assassin makes no sense. You have to look at abilities within their role type. No way is a dayvig or an assassin going to have a busdrive ability. A veteran scum getting two extra abilities is more reasonable to me than the alternative. And if we look at the actual play, Gumshoe is the only player in the game that has no reason to be town. | ||

But it's also quite far-fetched that Palmar or prplhz would receive a bus driving ability on top of their already powerful KP roles.... And they're also otherwise towny. That would really just leave you. | ||
