I was torn between voting for GGTemp and voting for boone here, but boone stroked the ego in saying that she wanted to play with me, so GGTemp gets the vote. Answer for Joey: I've been inactive because I was playing Video Mafia yesterday. Lurking isn't even accurate because until this morning, I hadn't even really read the thread.
The bolded part at first, felt to me like he was trying to look for something in templar to show us templar was mafia, now that i know VE is town, this is way more valid of a point.

VE what did you think of Boonetown's explanation of GGTemp's play because him saying you were both scum in QT lines up with her description of his town play.
I haven't played /much/ with GGTemp, but from my experience with him this isn't his town play. And Boone's conclusion said that he's either A) not trying at all or B) Mafia. I explained why I think his entrance to the QT is more in line with a scum perspective than a townie one. He didn't sound like a paranoid townie, he sounded like scum trying to sound like a paranoid townie.
I am going to take what he says about Templar more highly than my own read on him at this point. I think templar probably plays his forum mafia and video mafia very different and knowing that myself, killing and robik are in this game, he might play up his paranoia to get us to read him as town. If that's the case, screw you templar.
After he wrote this, Templar did his big ol' thread of pictures and reads on the DM people. IMO, if templar is mafia, the other DM people are likely all town. Why do I say this? If templar was mafia with someone from DM he wouldn't go out of his way to only read us as a priority over other players with little about anyone else, because we are well aware that he's played forum mafia before. He should be able to help us with reading a few of the TL players.

I want to believe this is true so much. I had Palmar down as a scum read but he seemed to "i dont care about this anymore, goodbye" toward the end, that it worried me he was just a pissed off towny. Can anyone explain to me if he should have been reading VE as town this game or not, do they typically have good reads on each other? Furthermore, does Palmar usually refuse to play the game when he's frustrated?

Question isn't for me but answering anyways. Everyone is playing very differently except for Robik. He usually just goes super aggro on his reads and is always too certain of them. I wouldn't say how he has acted has been alignment indicative so far as he does it as both town and mafia. I get a better read on him as the first day goes on. He shows himself at the end of day 1 imo. Templar is probably atm the scummiest of all the DM players for me. He rarely gives out his reads with providing extensive reasoning.
So what do you think of Boon calling Robik's play different from video and using that to read him when everyone is playing different anyway unless she thinks all the DM people are scum.

Current scum team: GGtemplar, Boone, Alakzam
The only read that I liked from Boone was the read on Templar. Other than that, calling everyone's top town town + calling one of my top scum town for really shit reasons in my opinion made her look worse in my eyes. Alakzam has been scummy for me cause the second GGtemplar voted for him, his post quality went way down.
I just felt the interaction was super weird and might have been scum voting on scum or something along those lines. GGtemplar is my top lynch for today because he never substantiated his reads nor did I feel they were even deserved.
What was weird about it? You can't just say shit like that without quoting and explaining.
GGtemplar lynch at the time this post is made is a lurker lynch. I'm always slightly suspicious of people actively pushing lurker lynches in early day 1, but I guess a few people are doing it and they aren't all scum.
Why are you against a lurker lynch, but all for policy and RNG lynches?
I like your read on Oats, I think he's pretty town, though I think it's a stretch to say if he's mafia you'll actively try to lose so he can win. This seems likes it's going to be a long game, and therefor tons of time to determine his allignment and adjust reads. I think you might be the best troll we have right now.

Okay I read through it, and honestly, I don't see him as a top town but he's certainly consistant and willing to give his opinion. I don't think he's pushing a town objective tho, so I'm still leaning him scummy...
There is about an hour left before the town awakens and I was only able to filter through two people (work, life, etc) and if I'm alive I will slowly filter through others in the next 48 hours because it was really helpful once I realized how to do it.
That being said, killing you have had 24 hours to "renew" your game, give me something good or I cannot read you the same as I do in video mafia.
