I think geript's gun is real. Apparently each kill in this game has a unique flavor so it would be stupid to fakeclaim a gun. So easily verifiable.

I don't think it would be a very good idea to recruit HF. He's definitely on every faction's kill list already. And I'm probably not that much of a better choice.
