it's nothing to do with reading his filter, it's the totally unnatural idea that you're reading a game and for some totally bizarre reason you decide to ignore one user's posts despite the fact that the rest of the game is reading and responding to those posts, so you have no contextual idea of what you're reading from anyone else regarding that user.
