why would we intentionally lower the level of play by playing on a holiday that a solid portion of the game will be enjoying? Like, if we see the problem coming, so why not avoid it, as it were. Like, the games gonna be awesome etc etc, but...it just feels like a problem that's easy to avoid by delaying. (examples of lowering the level of play would be increasing the likelihood of lurking, because they can just say 'oh thanksgiving' and be done with it.) | ||

It ends up being really close between Friday/Monday but like Umasi said above, I'd rather not risk a whole bunch of people being completely inactive for a known reason if it can be avoided. (Also for all the people in a mafia game who hate democracy, Friday is better for me than Monday and I have the final say.  ) Yes, Friday means a weekend start which I was avoiding in the first place but at least people know ahead of time, and not everyone is inactive on weekends.The countdown begins now!
