i usually still like to hang out and chat, but i delay big cases until the end of the night usually. there's no reason not to ask and respond to questions imo.

Sometimes I like to post a big case right at the start of the day to confuse scum into thinking i'm a cop who just got a check or something. I also do this so that when I actually *am* a cop it's not too weird for me to do so

What's scummy isn't coaching, it's coaching instead of scumhunting. It's coaching in an attempt to look like contributing when you're not. Coaching is completely normal town behavior. It's coaching alone that isn't.
