Wait why did you post something on TAA I missed? I'd be so sad if I missed that...

It's not his ragequit that I think makes him scum. It's how he posted/acted around the lynch that I think makes him scum. All I'm saying is that the ragequit isn't a town-tell to me because he was in a "fuck all of you" mood and could have done that as either alignment in my opinion.

Nope, that was all VE by himself, I made sure of that ^^

So what are you saying Cora, that you actually lied about reading 30 pages of filters? That you didn't actually read filters at all, and made up some shit just to put in the thread? Or that you only read a FEW filters (the people you actually mentioned) and that's all you could come up with? Or are you saying that I shouldn't even expect you to have read ANY of the filters by now anyway? What are you saying exactly Cora?
Besides, marv has opted out of reading you (for reasons I'm sure you're familiar with considering your last post) so if you think you can, convince me you're town. As it stands, I think I'm pushing your lynch tomorrow otherwise.

I can also see how it's possible that DrH is town based on how he acted around the lynch. And DrH being scum is related to TanGeng's alignment atm. Why would scum!DrH do what he did if TanGeng is town? To cause no lynch. No lynch hurts town not just by denying a lynch on scum...not getting information out of that lynch hurts town BY ITSELF, I mean, now we've either gotta follow through and lynch TG tomorrow or find another target...and if we find another target, we'll always wonder about whether scum tried to save TG or not, etc.

The only time I can see a no lynch helping town is subjectively - if a person has like a super strong town read on someone and that person is getting lynched, and the town player in question denies the lynch to save his town read...that's like, the ONLY instance where I'd even CONSIDER no-lynching to be consistent with a townie mindset.

That's just your opinion though rayn and you can't profess to know what the scumteam's opinion on the matter is unless you're on the scumteam right?
From my perspective, a no-lynch is an INCREDIBLE boon for the scumteam, ESPECIALLY if TG is town. Because now everyone's eyes are on TG for TOMORROW'S lynch right? By DEFAULT.
But anyway, that's just MY opinion, and it's regarding DocH who is either replacing out or getting modkilled or providing further content later, so it's whatever.

I did this thing I really don't like...it's pretty stupid looking back, but he was lurking most of the day, and when he was called out for not doing anything he was all "What? Look I'm just trying to generate discussion!"
Like, no you weren't dude. No one posts with the sole intent of "generating discussion". People have stuff to say when they post, and he defended himself by saying "Dude don't listen to me, I was just trying to generate discussion"
That's ultimately why I assented to lynch TG. That and the existing wagon.

I don't know about DocH man. I've never claimed to be intimately familiar with DocH's play. I'm familiar with his style and his inspiration, and I know how he feels about the way I play, but based on what I've seen recently I'm not going to say I know how DocH thinks about the game of Mafia.

Well explain what you don't like about it and I'll try and explain where my head was at. Simply saying you don't like it doesn't do anything.

... That's not what he said, nor is uncertainty in this game something that's unexpected. Try harder darling.

Well to be fair I had just gotten back into the thread and was quickly trying to get a lynch to happen on the best guess I had for scum among the available candidates. Among the candidates, I thought TG was the best bet for the reasons given. If you're expecting me to be dead certain on D1 in every game I play, you're going to have a bad time rayn.
Anyway, I'm much more informed now and I'm not sure where this whole thing is leading - do you have a problem with my more recent play that I'm not aware of?

Tempting just to take a selection of rayn's posts and call them scummy for random reasons that aren't scummy. Is that the game we're playing this evening?

Our shit is perfectly together, and you're being completely absurd. You're just ranting pointlessly with no direction, which, while amusing, isn't terribly helpful.

I had my own reasons - the fact that there was a wagon played a part of my choice, but the reasons I gave were the reasons for my support of the wagon.

Well I just don't know what else to say on the matter austin. I gave my reasoning for supporting the wagon, so I'm not really sure what you're after here.
