I'm thinking its the other way around. He pulls that stunt BECAUSE his partners are in trouble.

So are you softing that sentinel is surely scum? I know I am not scum so your theory is either wrong or you should just come out and say that. I think he just took it upon himself once he got the cop role to ensure some more deaths then leave it up to the others in good standing. The game is over anyway if me/sent are actually scum so I fail to see your logic.
