Even if it RBs and frames at the same time, it's entirely possible that they actually used the role on mafia toad as it would probably make him green to DT checks and he could get town cred/cast suspicion on you by hinting that he might be shooting you. It makes some sense as it can give you pretty massive town cred, in particular when rb/framer flips. The only problem with this theory is that it probably requires Toad to be a goon, unless he is a mafia vig/poisoner who only has one at most two shots.

well if someone is the man for these things as scum it's toad. only his evil and paranoid scummind can forge such a wierd plan and execute it... but it still is unlikely... if toad were scum he'd be more active right now just because of the excitement.
towntoad loses interest in games pretty fast that are working out too well or too bad :-o

A reasonable theory would be: Framing and RB are done simultaneously or exclusively (i.e. no frame one dude, rbign the other) -> Mafia plans on framing toad green after we get suspicious of him day1 -> Claiming RB seems proffitable for town cred, and might as well do it since you can't use anyway -> Need to justify being roleblocked -> Soft claim vig shooting marv -> herpderp j/k

not true, at least not in LIX. We shat all over mafia and Toad was extremely active for the entire game

My only worry with the Toad scum theory is his fake-shot on me, really.
syllo pointed out interactions with Matt that he didn't like. But also with Hopeless, Toad wrote him off as a kinda 'slight townread' and then never mentions him again at all.
