I can understand the "slav = town as a whole" train of thought here.

But instead of sticking with that, immediately claiming Bosnian cop is funky. A whole cycle left to try and propose a better lynch target, and instead insta-claim in a game with 4 trillion roleblockers.

Firstly, if he IS a Bosnian, he can just get a faction member to claim he's a Slav. He wouldn't even need the mason channel, but with the mason channel it is even easier. Regardless, slavs can confirm each other in the thread if they really feel like they are in trouble. Scum would be hesitant to link themselves so strongly to each other this early in the game, because flip one and the other drops with him... so what does a scum in this situation do? Use the only "safe" claim they have: claim Bosnian.

As marv pointed out, he didn't even think his claim through: you just gave scum a great reason to roleblock you (assuming there are roleblockers in the game).

@Hiro: I was busy puzzling over Zephirdd's scumslip and frankly, I don't really care why you voted for me. But you're obviously going to tell me anyway.

inspired by the zeph situation, what is the hole in this:

everytime slav is up for lynch,
slav buddy says "I am a slav with so and so (the lynch candidate)"

don't have to reveal the faction.

obviously no one wants to reveal their teammates, but it forces the turks to publicly link themselves. still can lynch the person or not depending now on two combined filters.

maybe situational to bandwagons thoguh I suppose.

That's good strat for town as a hole. But if your team will lose a guy, why out another guy from your team? Especially if he's another lynch candidate... Like would this hurt scum, yes, but it also could badly hurt the chances of the team who outs itself, even if its specific team name (bosnians, etc) isn't known, just because there's 2 doodz.

Esp if the guy is lynched... then they know the team of the guy who claimed to save him. So this would hurt scum but also we want to win vs each other since just killing scum isnt the only wincon for us in this game so I think I wouldnt do this to save a friend of mine, and he probably wouldnt do it to save me... just because yeah.

And this is why i think other bosn shouldnt claim. Marv is trying hard to do that(out other bosnians)
