turns out that Im gonna be AFK all day saterday and a good deal of monday, and due to the set up, thats not gonna work out. sorry guys. will be watching the action from the sidelines again. | ||

Zephirdd begged, as he handed the dark notebook to the person in front of him. On the cape, you could see written the japanese letters デスノート, which read Desu Nōto, or Death Note for those who spoke English. Zephirdd then said the magical words. "I abdicate from my possession of the Death Note". As he said it, he felt it all go away. The memories of all who died, the faces of their pain, even his most recent memory - Forumite. It didn't matter if it was justified, the fact that he no longer had to carry that burden made him happy. He started laughing, now ignorant of the fact that he was once a serial killer. He looked at the pages, where there was something just written on them. It read Zephirdd, Heart Stops. "What is going on..." he mumbled, as his life was drown away from him. _____________________ Six months past the incident, fifteen men grouped in a room. They were all called there for the simple reason that they are the best detectives in the world. During the past six months, an unknown identity was killing powerful people - generally, people with power that would be seen as "corrupt", "evil" or "egoistic". These people, without the right of a trial or rebuttal, would simply die in mysterious ways. The population called it the "work of Kira", and some actually believed "Kira" was a real person. "Kira", which is the japanese word for Killer. As they gathered, a wide screen in the room turned on, with a big L letter, and started saying. "This is L. This is a pre-recorded message, because I am right now in the middle of you. Just like me, the one known as Kira is a part of this team. We will live together for the next days, and it's our duty to identify Kira and kill him. I will chose someone to pass my messages on, so prove to be useful. While I am part of the group, it's not important who I am. I will find him, and I will kill him. Detectives who are not on his side, I am counting on you. I'm off." And just like that, the group scattared and started discussing. This was day 1 of the search for Kira. 15 players live. Deadline is [unparsable timestamp format]. As with some of my previous games, I'll be advocating a an anti-lurker policy for Day 1. I've seen inactive mafia in both newbie and veteran games time and time again, and I firmly believe it to be the best Day 1 lynching option. | ||
