@NSH: Come to think of it, he trolled a lot less in TLM LIV(? the TF2 one). Let me read up on him and offer my thoughts. Also, what do you think of what Kurumi posted earlier?

@NSH: AFAIK, grush hasn't actually played any games as scum. He trolls a lot no matter what. I would think he would troll less if he rolled scum. He seems to be trolling more this game. We'll have to keep an eye on him.

Regardless, VE brings up a good point. We should deal with the scum in front of us before we start lynching into the insane players in this game. You say that you questioned your read on BKE. Does that mean you're thinking null or scum now?

Still crossing my fingers for a mad hatter in this game.

Okay, someone else read Kurumi's final point about BKE knowing another players alignment and tell me if he's right on that account.

Overall, I agree with what Kurumi had to day. He's right, BKE has been inconsistent with his position on casualman (another player I'm praying gets hit with a bomb). I'm just having trouble agreeing with that final point. I have no idea why. Also, BKE's absence today is kind of strange. Still not sure what to make of that.

I'm going to spend some more time thinking about this.

FYI, I'm going to be gone most of tomorrow. I won't be here even close to the deadline. Tomorrow morning (East Coast timezone), I should be able to be on for a bit. I'll cast my vote at that point, and then I'm off!

Side note, if he is in fact the DT, i see no reason to doubt his claims. Scum Katina makes sense, and I doubt there are two GFs in this game.

Well, he actually knows how his role works. That makes his claim more believable than the last DT who claimed in one of my games.

I agree NSH; Hyaach's claim doesn't make any sense if he was scum. His checks make sense. I can totally buy a scum Katina in this game.

@acro: I had him marked down as scum on my spreadsheet, but I'm reconsidering. Rereading what he posted, it seems that he honestly wants to figure out what's going on in this game (at least early on in the game). He recently rolled scum in Basterd Mafia 2, so I'm going to have to go back and reread that at some point to see how he plays scum. Right now, I'm thinking he's a townie with too little thread presence.

I don't think we can really make too much out of Katina's connections. She's not a great scum player, but she's not bad by any stretch of the imagination. I would think long and hard before using any of her reads to figure out alignments. But, you're right, that coherent Katina post is kinda damning. NSH brought that to attention a while ago, and I agree with him on that account.

I'm still trying to make sense of casualman. @CM: y u vote VE?

Fun fact: Majugarzett autorolls scum. We should lynch him based on that fact alone. For reference, see Bastard Mafia 2 and TLM LV.

I've looked back at those posts that I thought were pro-town, and I can't really find them. Maju's been playing scummy all game, and I don't think that's because he's a lazy townie. He seems to post posts that are mildly insightful, and then just kind of drop them. His earlier posting was not terribad, later posting is

Interestingly, none of the better lynched townies said anything substantial of Maju. There are almost no references to him in the filters of NSH, austinmcc, marv, or even s0lstice. Almost nothing. This guy has been lurking like a boss all game long. I vote we rip him out of the shadows and see what's going on.

I'm not ready to lynch him (although delurking like that is rather... curious), but I really want to see him in the spotlight a bit. He's flown perfectly under the radar all game.

Alright, according to my maffs, there is 12 of us left. Assuming we don't lynch any scum between now and the end of the game, we lose with two more mislynches, assuming there are no saves. Dat's bad, but not the end of the world. I'm assuming since the medic was killed last night that Hyaach and I are probably going to be out of here shortly. A few final thoughts:

Lynch Maju before you lynch Grush. According to my spreadsheet, Maju rolled scum and Grush didn't. If he flips town, take a long hard look at Vivax.
Hyaach is right, VE needs to be vetted. Take a long hard look at him.
If I had more time, I would go back and look at what Austin had to say about the ET/Twelve mislynch. He had some good stuff in there that got buried. See if you can't find some scum out of that mess.
Casualman is probably not scum, just mad. Someone find out why he's been voting VE.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, have some discussion today. The lack of posts this cycle makes me sad. (Some of that is probably my fault, sorry )
