Most interesting thing in this post is not about layabout, it's about you, sandroba and ace. You are using a dupe to voice your suspicions of Sandroba. You've already made them perfectly clear. I am wondering why you think Ace's single post is so much better? I have a complete null read on Ace. His post is good, but it's not townie, nor scummy to make that post, especially for someone campaiging as mayor.
You haven't even talked about the third candidate GM, except in passing. What do you think about GM? Why is Ace better than GM?

I don't want to run anymore. WBG gave me some good reasons for not running. I am completely new to a PM game, so thought the thread was just a giant shithole at the time. Hence my decision to run. WBG and others have since clued me in that a crapton of stuff has been happening behind the scenes and while I have figured out how to play this game, I also have a town read on both Sandro and GM (slightly stronger on Sandro, but I understand people's point of being afraid to invest too much power in one person). I see no reason to confuse the vote any further at the moment.

Oh, and GM was one of my strongest town reads before he went missing. I also find it quite hard to believe a mafia would invent a gruesome injury as an excuse, when any old bullshit excuse would've worked equally well. So he's either scum telling a really coldhearted lie, or he has a potentially serious eye injury (regardless of alignment). I prefer to believe in humanity (and my earlier town read).
