I have cooled my jets a bit towards Alderan and I now believe that risk.nuke is SCUM (note the capitals).

I wanted to get that out before the day post. I'll expand on it later, but other things are getting in my way of devoting a chunk of time to case building until I get the day post for SNMMIX out there. I'll be sure to finish it before bed tonight, so stay tuned.

Some if-then statements to note.

If risk.nuke is scum then Greymist is likely town.
If Greymist is scum then gumshoe is likely town.

I understand this, I did something similar last game with a lurker who ninja voted. So, if you honestly think that Risen is mafia because of his posting, then go for it. But if you really aren't sure, then I ask you to cool off, keep an open mind, and be constructive day 2. Just because you are in conflict with Risen doesn't mean you can't contribute on other topics.

Risen, please take some of the emotion out of your posts. You are not useful to the town posting as you have been. Take a wider view, be objective.

We have a long day ahead and we are behind more than normal because of that modkill. However, we are far from being in a bad position. With some clear thinking and a few persuasive cases, we can get this town back on track.

I still don't understand how Risen got lynched over Acro when he claimed DT with a scumcheck. Given that Acro would almost certainly not have been framed, he had to be either a miller or scum or Risen is lying. If it is the latter then you just did a 1 for 1 and you are happy. To me lynching Acro was the only logical course of action. What turned Alderan into scum in my eyes was this post:

Not only was he ignoring what I saw as the obvious course of action, he was proposing that the next day Greymist should be lynched, ignoring the possibility that Acro would be convicted by Risen happening to tell the truth. I was so sure I was going to be vindicated in that read, oh well...

It was definitely not a good time to claim. But once it was out there, how to deal with it should have been plain, and it wasn't lynching Risen before Acro.
