I did the same thing in Newbie mafia, when I tried to defend my scumbuddy. Exactly the same, which is:
-calling the person stupid or bad
-telling everyone that I am willing to change the stance on this person judging from his future behaviour, but now for the moment giving him the "bad townie" status
-at the same time distancing myself from him, "no big loss"

Agh, the problem is that bluelightz is a good aim for now, but there are many posters who are far worse than him and still somehow fly under the radar. If bluelightz is able to make a good defence, then I may focus on one of the lurkers.

Here are the players that cast a vote without making a post in the thread at around the same time: - blubbdavid (on Bluelightz): posts a weak attack on Bluelightz 2 hours before voting, - Paperscraps (on Dirk): votes 5 hours after his last post in the thread. After we lynch Bluelightz today, I would definitely take a further look at these two.

Hmm, seems like Sbrubbles is a good one to look into. 1 page of filter, no scum reads, just talking about the game mechanics all day long. Furthermore, his town play differs severely from this one here.
Nisani: Bunch of one-liners, no useful reads except suspicion in Kenpachi and Dirk, but switching vote to bluelightz
Definitely a good lynch candidate, like Sbrubbles.
Adam: He is better than the other two, looks townier than most people here. Should I elaborate why he looks townie for me? No? Good.
Sbrubbles and/or Nisani lynch/vigshot for sure.

-Nisani: Has pretty many one-liners, most of them not contributing anyhow to town. He later then shaped up a bit and actually made some reads.
-Sbrubbles: He has written more than Nisani, but most of them is fluff about game mechanics.

-Nisani: The first suspicions he has is on Kenpachi and Dirk., then additionally suspects Bluelightz. But after lightz lynch, he pushes against ghost, calling the kettle black. Gets called out from JJ, for scummy behaviour, e.g: hopping on the lightz train when there already was a clear majority. His defense: thought that dirk was more likely to be lynched this day.
-Sbrubbles: talking about game mechanics, mechanics, mechanics, mechanics, till he mentions some vague suspicions he has in his second last post, against Kenpachi and bluelightz
Voting behaviour:
-Nisani: Votes Drazerk late. Next night, initially votes for Dirk, later hops on the bluewlightz train, also very late, and without good direct statement to this.
-Sbrubbles: Votes veeeery late for Drazerk. Second night, votes for bluelightz as last person.
General behaviour:
-Nisani: Despite under heavy fire, he does not become too defensive, and pushes further on ghost.
-Sbrubbles: Promised us to contribute further, that was 36 hrs ago. Furthermore, and here is my main point: He isn't the sharp scum hunting Sbrubbles anymore who I knew in Mini Mafia V. One may argue that the scale of this game discourages sharp analysis, but what Sbrubbles has contributed here defies all description.
So my vote on Sbrubbles doesn't come because I think that Nisani is town or anything, but because Sbrubbles is playing really bad now.
