Do you really want to random lynch? @Syllogism How come you are so active early game? @Radfield Did I read your post wrong or did you dissagree with random lynching and proceeded to random vote? | ||

Syllogism: Unless he found a new love for being mafia exactly this game, I'm pretty surre he is town. He could have opted to post waaaay less day1 and still I wouldn't suspect him, because that's usually how he operates. Instead he is getting this thread moving, posting a shitton and generating discussion. Radfield: Pretty active, but for him that doesn't mean as much. Leaning town on him for now, only because his posts are not as carefully constructed as when he is mafia. Palmar: Kinda inactive day 1, but I can't really say shit about that, since I was inactive myself. It's worth keeping an eye on him, since I'm having a bad feeling about his posts (pretty much reharsh of previous games posts), but still a retarded choice for a lynch day1. These guys shouldn't even be discussed for a lynch day1, since they have a high chance of being shot night 1 when town. Now into the people I actually find suspicious and would like input on from everyone in the thread: Zephird: He is talking nonsense in pretty much every post he makes in the beggining and then jumps on the corrupt dude who seems to be the most inexperienced player in this game. Compare that to his play in the last game where he was town, where his logic was pretty decent and I got a town read on him pretty much right of the bat. vaderseven: This guy gave me the impression that he is pretty good at this game in xlvii. His case on radfield is based on logical falacies and plain out wrong information. When people point this out he dismisses it and jump on the easy mode corrupt bandwagon. That note thing seems fabricated as fuck, given the way it's written and the amount of false information it contains. The fact that he unvoted radfield after people pointed out several flaws in his case isn't a scum trait by itself, but him jumping on corrupt the second after while admiting he could easily be a bad townie aswell is the patern we can identify as him not actually worried about looking for people that actually have scum motives behind their posts. Now comenting on people that others were suspicious off: VE: While I don't agree with his logic, I find him very open and transparent in his posts. Contrary to the previous guys I mentioned I don't get the vibe that he is trying to hide in his posts. Hier: Don't know how good this guy is but his attack on syllo was pretty ridiculous. Don't think that makes him auto-mafia though, I need to see more from him before I decide. prpl: I see nothing in his posts that point toward being mafia so far. That "blue claim" you guys are freaking over about doesn't even seem like a blue claim to me lol. Seriously. Jackal: I went over his day1 on xlvii and found his tone to be pretty simillar. Dunno what to make of him yet. | ||

Lanaia DID insta-delurk there, she posted 10 min after radfield posted an attack on her, while she was missing for 2 hours. Last game 2 players (greymist and matchew) did the same thing and I called them out for it and they ended up being mafia indeed. Totally contrary to how you played in XLVII which I enjoyed a lot <3 prpl you are getting really good as of late. But I don't really agree with listening to "good players". I'm more in favor of becoming good yourself and that's totally doable. There is PLENTY of material here and some very good guides. I mean I consider myself a fairly decent (town) player and most of the way I think about things is derived from ver's guide. You just have to understand the true meaning of suspicious (scum) behavior. It's not when the dude is doing things most people will take a glance and say "Fuck that's suspicious as shit", it's when the dude is actively avoiding doing anything that can cause such suspicion. Most people can be caught this way if you try to put yourself in their position. Others can be caught by observing how they are twisting logic and evidence to support a certain side of an argument, so you can clearly see they have an agenda behind it. Playing more and more won't make you better, reading and thinking about it really hard will. | ||

I was very sure after annul claimed the shot day 2 that palmar/radfiled would not rest until they got him lynched. I was also very sure palmar would conclude I was 100% scum if I didn't vote annul. Also I already knew that radfield and a few others suspected me. My team and annul himself thought that bussing him was a bad idea so I couldn't push it full strength to get town cred, because ultimately they wanted for him to not get lynched. So I tried to push annul half heatedly in a slightly scummy way to actually dissuade the people that thought I was scum from voting him, while not really convincing others that didn't find me scummy to vote him. I really had no option but to post very little and don't add much content to annul's case. Had I pushed it full strength I'm pretty sure he would have been lynched day 2 and my team didn't want that. So it kinda worked out this way, and also gave me a reasonable explanation for being alive later since I was useless. Same thing happened day 3, I couldn't really push annul so I posted the minimum. I guess I could have started pushing random shit at that point since most people that knew me were dead already. But at that point the game was really dull for me and I wasn't really motivated because town was getting no where and it was frustrating even me lol. So day 4 I actually had quite a bit of fun, at first I thought town would never fall for that shit, since to me it would be really obvious, but I decided to give it my best shot to make it look believable since I wanted some excitement influx. It kinda worked out, but we really thought town had the same roles as mafia since that was observed in the thread (town rb day2, town jack, town floridian, town medic) so we didn't really count on jailer, we thought town had a roleblocker instead. In the end it worked out since jackal never hinted his role and the remaining town never bothered to read the thread and observe jackal's behaviour in all annul's lynches to conclude he was 100% guilty no questions asked. So we won, yay! | ||
