To be honest I agree with you, I hate name claims and I hate role claims ( Unless they are fake and mine ) we let people slip through to easy.
However, There are five British players which seems to high, considering we are all veterans it is a VERY easy nation to claim if you are say a nuke immune zombie?
I've already explained why mine is different and if you read through the thread it should make perfect sense to you.

Not necessarily someone is lying, and if someone is I would assume it to be TAA. Let's assume only one chinese as per syllo theory. That leaves 4 factions to distribute a lot of townies, not necessarilly evenly. Let's not jump to conclusions. Winston claim is pretty balsy, so he's prob town.

Name claims you can't rely on anything except lucking into a player claiming someone else who is already in the game. In a game of luck and randomness, Mafia comes out on top because they have information and can influence decisions.

I have not outed that I am a power role. I said some of my powers are undeniably more useful than others. Mafia can believe I have a useful one or useless one right now as they want to believe. WIFOM come at me Mafia.

I'm going to point out the biggest flaw in all of your nameclaim bullshit right now. You are all operating under the assumption that Mafia can mask flips. If Mafia also has a name/role DT then they find a world leader, kill him, move his flip to something else and have one of them claim the world leader. You all instantly believe he is 100% confirmed Town. We instantly lose on lylo.

My reluctance to claim my name paints me as suspicious but the 10 million suspicious ACTIVE ACTIONS other people have taken don't paint them as suspicious? Actions > words people.

I will gladly martyr if that is the only way to get the Town back on the right track. I'm not going to survive a nuke. I do not have antinukes. Hit me with one and you can find my name and my role and you can confirm for yourself why I am so against nameclaims. Maybe then someone will listen to my analysis and get this Town back into the right atmosphere.

i think that chaos in the name of caller game is pretty shoddy town behavior. so stop it.
ym/sand/syllo saying a lot of things but it all depends on opz defense .. mostly i think they're picking a target who they are sure they can get lynched because they want to direct attention away from themselves .. i don't think all are scum though but i'm still suspicious of ym/sand especially because of yms original claim appearing to be less legit than chaos

The reason for nameclaim is that it's extremelly unconfortable for mafia to do it. They have to either claim someone low key or wait until many players of a faction have claimed already so they can be safe. It reduces town's targets and makes it easier to find scum.
If I did not make it clear before, I don't care for your special win conditions. Since you haven't claimed you are under heavy scrutiny. Deal with it =P.
Fake roleclaiming in CCM was used as last resort and is not something mafia is willing to do unless they need to. It's very hard to fake a plausible role and explain your actions acordingly. It's not in anyway relevant to this game though, since I'm not asking for roles, I'm asking names. You can be against it for your own reasons, but you can't argue it isn't pro-town.
