Syllogism is a blue. protect him (if a medic didnt already) On June 28 2011 17:27 syllogism wrote: Can actions be sent in advance? That is to say, can detectives and medics PM their next targets before the day post as long as the PM specifically clarifies their intention? I've been reading the thread and i saw people against Lurker checking but how likely is it that inactives/Lurkers are GF? Not likely so there is nothing to lose with Lurker checks, and you ARE confirming townies anyways. But priority is major lynch targets (that are not set up for a vig hit) Also i said im at my friends house .. Im not going to play Mafia at my friends house -_- On June 29 2011 09:09 Drazerk wrote: Show nested quote + On June 29 2011 09:00 Cthsazsa wrote: On June 29 2011 08:56 Drazerk wrote: Well looks like I am dead, At least when I am dead ill flip green Proving GM is innocent. Was bound to happen as I am always day 1 lynch suspect. When I die you will be at a disadvantage but at least you will have a Guaranteed Townie. ( Medics better defend him don't let my death be in vain ) I'm off to bed How in holy hell does your death guarantee GM as town? Simply giving up without defending yourself is one of the scummy things to do besides lurking. A real townie wouldn't simply say "Well your lynching a green your loss" and just give up. They'd be trying to defend the hell out of themselves. I'm still convinced you're scum. May I suggest you read simple mini mafia 4 where as town I give my self up to be lynched every day? Pretty hardcore martyring. I use to rage when i martyred (when i was wee newbie too). makes you look more town. You are too calm to be town. ##Vote Drazerk Reasoning: 1) your martyring is terrible. 2) you're a calm martyr.

Mafia decides the kill together so why would actions need to be sent in advance for them? Roleblocks? Seriously, this is a meta game thing and has nothing to do with the game at hand He hasn't contributed anything to the thread. I didn't even know there were roleblockers lol Metagame helps us is numerous ways though. are you willing to believe the mafia are a bunch of inactives who make their own decisions? I really cant argue the possibility of being a roleblocker but i think its more likely hes a blue

YM, you referenced the Zodiac List from XLII...what you didn't take into account was that after he posted the Zodiac List, BC didn't guide the discussion after it...making it bad for town. He used the fact that no one uses the list properly to his advantage. Had he been town, he likely would have guided discussion properly, and it likely would have been more of a help for town. There are a lot of likelies in that statement, and I'm well aware of it, tyvm. That's just my opinion. Conversely, when abused, the Zodiac Lists DO tend to clutter up the thread. ... ??? Does anyone know what he ment by both sides?

Curious. :p martyring is *terrible* scum play, as I learned in PYP:I, not sure if Draz knows that though, when I say "null tell" I mean that its behavior that both scum and town do, which means it plays no part on when I read someone, so no matter *who* did it (unless its an experienced player with no history of self reference), that means the null-tell isn't strong or weak, its simply not a factor in my analysis. My read on sinani206 is strong, for a day 1 read, but its a day 1 call, and I'm notoriously bad at those. Right now of the candidates up to lynch I think he is the most likely to be mafia. However I'm sure there are better candidates, I just don't want us to have a hectic last minute voteswitch and let the mafia control who gets lynched. For example I'd be happy to put hiro up for lynch, but with only about 5 hours left in the day, I'm sure it wouldn't be beneficial to us to start a serious wagon on him. we need Pandain to pull that off

I know you guys think he's scum, and I can see all the reasons for it...but I just don't think he'd be going to all the trouble if he were scum. The circumstances behind him pulling SIMILAR moves in previous games were completely different. I honestly think that in spite of how silly his methods sound, he's got town's best interest at heart. Anyone who argues otherwise simply has a different opinion on what's the most important for town. In the meantime, I'm going to stick my vote on Kenpachi. He's A) on the lurker list. B) NOT contributing (see A), and C) coming in randomly with classics such as: Show nested quote + On July 01 2011 07:29 Kenpachi wrote: Im going to hop the bandwagon if you dont mind. ##vote GMarshal why? I only have notes up to page 22 I think, but one of them is in capital letters "MIG MIG MIG - FLYING WAY UNDER THE RADAR". Unfortunately, I never had the thread presence or the motivation to push him as a legitimate lynch target, so I just seized the opportunity to lynch him when it came up lol. Looking back, I actually have 4 of the scum on my shortlist of suspects by page 22, and I only excluded VE because I knew he was the alternate lynch to drazerk whom I thought was scum. I missed Kenpachi because tbh I skip his posts but in retrospect I think I see a difference now between his town play and his scum play. Too bad for me that I had GMarshal at the top of my scumlist. I feel bad about that because it's always been very obvious to me what GMarshal's alignment is . Oh well. This was also my first experience in subbing in to a game. I didn't like it at all, even though I subbed in during day 1... I felt uncomfortable and uncommitted the whole time. As to the setup itself, I thought it was really cool. I dont think anyone commented on the fact that mafia in this game had 3kills/48 hours instead of 3kills/72 hours. Just something to note among the other balance factors. Anyways, gg, well played to many players. what difference?
