Yeah, normally people don't frown on double, or even triple posting. So long as you have something to say, it's a lot better than editing.
I do think we should threaten inactives and/or lurkers a bit, though not necessarily lynch them the first day if a better target comes up. This would hopefully get everybody talking more, especially during the short day (~24 hours only), and make it more likely for scum to slip up.
Starting with the inactives is probably a good start since the game plays out in more interesting ways with active players. But there's still a modkill option, so I don't really know how much of a threat it is to pick them off early.
I will also wait to vote to see if the lynch is a majority vote or a high count.

like are the votes disregarded until the end of vote time frame and then tallied up and most person with votes lynched
or does voting close as soon as someone receives majority of votes and lynched.
I think it is the first option....otherwise there could be a lot of wasted time during each day phase if we get a quick majority

Since everyone has a specified role to take, will looking at past games still be important for analysis? People could be playing up their characters and forcefully change their posting habits, but that's hard to tell.
Can you guys cut it out? I'm starting to think you're doing this on purpose.....

To all those that have played pevergreen's previous games- are there any chars that are assumed scum?
Whoa there. Don't know if those are just part of your characters, but you don't have to start accusing people as mafia just because of it. A character and someone's alignment should be completely separate things (at least that's what I think), so no need to jump the gun.
Hmm, so far the votes are still looks to be pretty distributed other than Zerroth. Unless something drastic happens within the next 7-8 hours, he will probably be lynched. I guess I'll just vote for someone who is inactive but still have no votes yet.

ok so game hasnt even started yet. no day post or anything i havnt even posted a seriouse post regarding the game and boom hes out the gates trying to get someone lynched
Not that it would have counted; only votes after the intro count toward the final tally.
On a side note, I find that a lot of the analyses so far have been personal grudges (maybe not to that extent) from previous games and not necessarily logical according to the rules of this setup.
Oh well, there is that 75% voting safety net for them.

Interesting. Twins are usually of opposing alignments so I had a look at Lunar's Posts:

Everyone, first find your character here.
I found mine pretty easily. Also will name claiming be any help in this game?

Coag is actually very good at scum hunting. He played ton of games.
He just don't like to write long post to convince others.

I say pever, you didn't burden someone with the role that forces the player to write in huge, multi-colored text, and occasionally post meme pictures, did you?
Because that would be very.....annoying.
Put foot in mouth.
I herd you liek me, so I put me into me to make meme.

There are also no ‘joker’ or ‘actor’ roles. No one will obtain victory by being lynched.
Just want to restate this because I will be force to do a couple of things very silly. My character is fucking stupid.

I will be busy throughout the first day. I'll catchup on monday (day2?).
I see people are exerting huge pressure on one person. To me, Zerroth is playing the lurking/inactive style like the last game. It'll be great if it will make him more active but it is like mafia can slip by unnoticed if it stays like this.
Also placing a vote to avoid modkill.
He made no particular effort to change the lynch which leads me to believe that he didn't know he was linked to zerroth. Considering it took a measly 5 votes to lynch zerroth it doesn't look like mafia (or any other party) made a significant attempt to redirect the lynch.
Another point to notice is that there was only 16 real votes placed out of 30, and these were spread out over 11 candidates. This is shockingly bad play. We need to be a lot more united to make any headway in this game, especially considering that there are probably several ~3 person factions with alternative victory conditions. If we allow scum/3rd party to lead the lynch wherever they want we are totally screwed. I know this was day one and there isn't a lot to go on, but we seriously need to pick it up a bit.
I've thought about the different alignments for twins as well, but it will be hard to determine anything, other than suspicious play, until the first night is over. The activity so far in this game has come in waves...a whole bunch of posts in a short period and then nothing for a few hours.
I'm still curious as to why Coagulation didn't put down a vote. Several players' votes were discounted (late or wrong format) but they at least tried. A second day without votes would mean a modkill, so I'll be looking closely at those people for the second day.
1) lovers were town/mafia - we have 1 mafia faction (1 kill) and at least 1 third party killer (depending on successful saves and roleblocks)
2a) lovers were mafia/mafia - there are 2 mafia factions and uncertain existence of 3rd parties
2b) lovers were mafia/mafia - only kingpin is left and uncertain existence of 3rd parties
3) lovers were town/town - 1 mafia faction and uncertain existence of 3rd parties
I have only put down the minimum number of mafia factions that I can think of since having more means that the docs and roleblockers got really lucky with their actions.

and round and round we go....
Careful about the edit, although I'm not sure how much was changed.
Doesn't seem like a lot of people respond to my stuff...maybe they are a little low on content.
It's already been a full day/night cycle and we still don't have too many clues as to who is mafia. Just wondering, how come it seems like I'm being ignored/left out of the conversation?

Some org regulars whom are still alive are.
Beefy (Japanese, friend of pevergreen, lynched when innocent and survives when mafia)
Chaotix (As fluffy said I'm playing him. Vengeful)
Beskar (Witty British guy)
TinCow (Mafia hunter. Prosecutor)
GeneralHandkerchief ( God of Org mafia. Creator of all)
Sasaki Kojiro (Always suspicious. He votes for Csargo)
atheotes (always mafia. Always)
Secura (Beskars friend)
Theres a few more I cannot think of right now, or players who are not regular anymore (like Kommodus)
Seems to be the best out of small option I have.
TinCow is Ace, so he's dead.
Also, looking at the list of players at the .org databasedatabase, several people on your list don't want to get invited to games anymore (beefy, GeneralHandkerchief, Sasaki, TinCow).
I've been doing a poor job at playing my role, but how could you act as someone who's on an unlucky streak?

Really, no one opposes this? Also, shouldn't there be more discussion on the extra night hit and/or the lack of day hit so far?
The last day hit happened near the end of the cycle, so we'll probably have to wait a few more hours to see what turns up. I think that if pever posts it up as soon as he gets the PM, then it could reveal something like the location/time zone of the killer.
My hypotheses about the extra night kill - did we somehow get lucky and got both grunts? So, assuming the lovers were town/mafia, we took care of one grunt on the first day. So then mafia had 1 kill and a 3rd party had another. Then one of the following - the Misder lynch, the kitaman daykill, or the 5 modkills - killed the second grunt. I don't think the modkills could include a mafia grunt since that happened at the same time as the 3 night kills, but I'm just bringing up the possibilities. Now we have the GF having 2 kills for himself and the 3rd party is still around.

Just fyi, you are not allowed to reveal anything from the red text in your PM. If that is the case for that comment at the I would advise you to edit it out and beg forgiveness from pever.
Yes, I left out everything that could be associated with the red text.
There hasn't been too much activity outside of the really active players, so I don't have a good read on the others. Guess I'll jump on the bandwagon too.
