I think by now it's pretty safe to assume that most of the things LSB posted in the thread were lies. And from what happened 'behind the curtains' it's pretty clear that the Mafia knew what LSB knew (I mean, RoL would probably get targeted anyway, but since he was supposed to survive, either the Mafia used 2 hits on him, or someone in town thought it would be a good idea to hit him).
