As adorable as that pear is, the way he's presenting his innocence is a bit... suspicious. The benefits to the town from lynching a possible mafia/vampire outweigh, in my opinion, the chance that he's a townie. As Pandain said in his most recent post in the thread, the townies are inherently advantaged in terms of meeting their win condition, so the loss of a townie wouldn't be as severe as the loss of a scum.
