Sorry to say, I'm going to NK you tonight unless you can somehow prove you're not a leader. I know you have a night action. Either you are the watcher, and can prove it by giving me Hesmyrr's code. Or you have a night action that you can hopefully prove some other way. Otherwise you have to go. Can't have inactive people with night actions running around, surely you see that. He was the most obvious person to be a leader still in the game. However, I do agree with him that the leaders were kind of fucked once people started playing for a neutral victory. I suppose there needed to be something in the rules about not deliberately playing against your faction. Anyways, Darth, Brownbear and I had a great time trying to co-ordinate the town actions behind the scenes. Super fun. Good Game all.

you couldn't even PM recruits b/c they have honestly no reason to be loyal to you; i can't conceivably see any way that non-neutrals would have won

I wonder how overpowered I could have been if the lore in the PM was true -_- (being privy to information about all actions performed in the night.) Hell, allow me to protect myself and I would have been nearly indestructible unless by dayvig/daykill. As the very powerful role, I am very proud to have also brought into fruition the very overpowered neutral faction rofl. Honestly, it was impossible for Caller to expect loyalty from us with these two factors in the game: 1) Almost unfair power in the hand of recruiters that discouraged most neutral players from idea of being recruited/working for a faction. 2) The fact that you can change alliances like you could change breakfast; this system encourages individual play, and hell, if you consider what is in best interest of you as individual it was easy to realize you should prefer to stay as neutral until the other factions began to over-number neutrals. Why put your fate in the hand of the leader while you could take initiative yourself? Personally if there were no neutrals at beginning of the game, with all players distributed to their respective factions, it could have gone the way Caller had anticipated. Statement number two nullifies why argument "mafia should work for mafia" is invalid. The faction in the end was mean to your victory, not source of your victory. To be more specific it was like all of us were Survivors: priority goal, stay alive, secondary goal, make sure you defect to dominant faction and aid your faction only should this not be possible. Absolutely no basis for 'loyalty' since you alignment could change any time (like me lol). It's like you work your ass off for faction A putting it into dominant power, only to be recruited by once-powerful faction B. Still, I did almost everything in my power to keep L (thus me) alive for another day before surrendering, so I wonder how it would have went if I really had roleblocked L. I would still have ditched him for another faction as soon as I could just because he is such an big obvious target - it's like he magnetically attracts investigations and attacks, statistically proved by night 1 To be honest faction leaders needed to act REALLY fast at day 2 to have a chance against neutral rebellion. That is have one of its recruited members publicly claim (preferably me in that case), and have all other faction members PM me so Yellow Turbans, Liu Bei, and soon-to-be-dead L could set up temporary alliance. And even then it would have been stretch. I am still surprised at how terrible some leaders turned out to be when fake-role-claiming.

Yellow Turban, because its members could not be recruited, was closest to the actual cult and could have been very powerful had not Trezquet23 drew so much suspicion to himself. If you knew you were going to get checked I would definitely have sent him PM in advance that I was recruiting him. 'Appease' is key word here- when idea of neutral victory got dominant the power balance between recruiter and neutrals got reversed. There seem to be plenty of opinions who said this was not the game was meant to be played so if you were nice about it, I think people would have been acceptable. Hell, L even said "lol your plan sucks b/c this" and I still tried my hardest to save him before giving up for moral victory. I am especially curious after knowing Fishball's ability why he gave up- Fishball was seen as pro-town by day 2~3, so if he worked to keep people away from suspecting his true ability, BC could potentially have lived just enough to make it. My 1) Have the recruited members contact me or L. Set up an alliance whose conduit will be recruited members so that faction leaders identity can necessarily be kept secret. I had idea about using anonymous quickboard. 2) Role-claim wisely. I did it several times as Mafia and it isn't that hard -_- Almost all leaders got caught because of that. Fishball also needed to fake-role/nameclaim so BC's strength became that much stronger. 3) BC publicly claims himself as faction leader, or deliberately give off an "scumslip". Use all three faction members to spread ideas that BC must be lynched. BC survives. 3 people recruited night 2, L is protected (by me) and BC is immune.

It was callers confirmation that anyone I recruited could use their powers on me that made me and fishball concede. It meant that no matter what I did at the end meant i'd lose.

After crushing Yellow Turban rebellion, victorious Neutral rebellion army heads toward Shu. The result is that China is exposed to science and industrial revolution much more earlier, and emerges to become superpower which ends up conquering all of Asia in the First World War. When the Second World War begins, China join the side of Germany again and promptly conquer Soviet Union and eventually United States. The entire world ends up being under the rule of Nazi and Chinese rule.
