I believe it's just, whoever has the most votes at the end of the day gets to pick someone to kill? Since there's 4 factions, each faction is probably going to be pulling for one of it's own members to get killin' powah, so it's unlikely that quorum will ever be reached, especially from like day 3 onwards.

The downside of this is you don't necessarily want people to see everything that's being written inside your faction, because you won't know when people get swept away to another faction.

So the leader might be sending different people different PMs, depending on if he thinks their allegiance has changed.

Yeah, a big part of the thing is that how would you control access to that? If it's all anonymous can't everyone just read what your faction is doing?

Also a big big part of mafia is reading people, so now we end up with this situation of:
#1 People being unable to connect people in the anonymous thing with people talking in the normal thread, and like it might end up being everyone talks there instead? All kinds of chaos and issues.
#2 It becomes a game of analyzing how people talk and connecting them back to who they are on TL, but then there's like, what if someone's pretending to be someone else by copying the way they talk? Like if I was talking in the anonymous forum I would not use proper capitalization and punctuation, just to mask who I was. Then it's like this whole new part of the game that wasn't supposed to be there before.
