Something I've noticed is that Scamp has actually taken the time to legitimately defend himself. I remember when we were going to lynch Mystlord, he hardly said a thing and most of what he said only incriminated him more. Right now the only thing incriminating Scamp is L. Also when QS was going to be lynched he came up with the stupid modkill plan that had no way working. Scamp hasn't tried to pull anything of that caliber. It seems to me he's arguing as a townsperson.
To the town, L has already convinced you to lynch our Mayor/medic. What's going to happen when Scamp turns up innocent? We'll be in a bigger mindfuck than we are right now. tree.hugger is clearly the safer vote right now. It's no doubt that if Scamp does not get lynched, L will continue to incriminate him. If Scamp is indeed mafia, he's going to slip up somewhere.
You are totally convincing me to change my vote back to Scamp.. there are no clues against me...especially not from L. Scamp stretched the clue pointing to him to me which there was really no connection.

well, on the positive side, I helped kill QS instead of L on the last day. then the following night they killed caller. So in a way, I still helped the Gambinos which led to the mafia teams being even. Ok, well we need to look forward now.. We still have the circle even though there could be a GF in there. The one person I knew wasn't the GF died by modkill... so now I have no one to trust and no one to talk to.. why do my closest allies keep dieing... My first guess for the GF if he was in the Circle would be Iaaan just as L had mentioned.
Although the Circle lost a hostage and a member today, The Circle Will Prevail!

Right next door, Fishball had been preparing his list of suspects when he noticed that his neighbor’s house had been coated with a dark goo. Wanting to investigate, Fishball walked over to find the house in shambles. He tried to enter, but upon stepping on the goo, he was unable to move further. Giving up, Fishball walked up near the tower on the wall where meeple had been. He expected to find a sea of black water on the outside, but all he could see was bubbling blackness reminiscent of tar. Not a single drop of water to be found anywhere. Fishball turned around, and was ultimately greeted by a strange-looking short man blocking the path back to his house. The man just smiled and motioned over to the little hump on the wall that was meeple. “Unless you do just as I ask, all your little medic friends will die like the plague. You have been warned.” Just as he was about to turn away, he pinned an envelope with instructions on the wall. Fishball, however, irate at the man’s stubborn yet cool air, charged him hoping to catch him by surprise. The man however, turned around and viciously slashed at Fishball’s throat, stopping him dead cold before his feet.
