Ah well.

China is relgated like the brits were.

Shouldnt have got in the final, shouldnt have won the final. Going home with a gold medal.

From Bronze to gold due to two veryyyyy minute and hard choices by the judges.

Was their final time faster than Australia in the bronze match? If so they wouldnt have got shit.

Watching on red button can't rewind the tv to check.

Just have to call the decission of including the team sprint in the olympic program into question. It seems the teams are insufficiently prepared for it and it is not actually more interesting to watch than many of the alternatives.

It's obviously not the most beautiful way to win gold but if the other team risks it and fail at it. I mean it's not exactly a new rule.

GB were DQ'd in the heats and didnt get in the final. Germany were promoted and in the final China were DQ'd. Germany set a time worthy of only fourth and have been awarded gold.

Is it just me or are the americans definitely favored by the jury at women gimnastics?
They first ignore you. After they laugh at you. Next they will fight you. In the end you will win.

Please be aware that the german team was faster than australia in the semifinals, which is the reason they and not australia replaced GB in the finals. You might also argue germany saw they lost the final and didn't give everything until the last metres.

edit: germany's time in the semifinal was also faster than any time australia put up. Just saying.

Agreed, that's really retarded. But I doubt it would change anything since they are obviously using video evidence to make this decision.

I don't disagree with the result though, however small it is there was an infringement and that can not be ignored. I just feel sorry for the Germans actually as I would be sorely disappointed to win that. Oh well they seem happy enough though congrats to them...

Gymnastics, boxing, diving and syncronized events are always very questionable in terms of judges since the abilities of the athletes are so high and it is so hard to actually see the details that make up the differences.

Will be interesting to see, if some rules are changed after these Olympics.
In Fencing, Badminton and now here decisions happened, which make the rules seem a little bit questionable.

Seems like a silly event if DQ's are so easily aquired.
