I don't care how much Chinese money you have, coaches are the ones who have been winning League championships since Season 3 and it looks like KkOma ain't interested in that dirty Chinese money. Skt are heavy favorites to win worlds imo. But I wouldn't underestimate the chinese teams. Especially if omg+uzi worls out.

Most title sponsors didn't sponsor multiple seasons, and only in a few specific instances did they sponsor consecutive seasons (Shinhan Bank sponsored 4 consecutive OSLs in 05-06, Korean Air did 2 seasons in 2010, and on the MSL side Pringles did 2 consecutive seasons in 2006, while GomTV had 4 MSLs in 06-08). Basically, this seasonal title sponsor system has been how OGN runs their premier tournaments for more than a decade. It's business as usual for anyone who followed competitive BW and is in no way a cause for alarm when this is how they've always done things. Also, a TLer who didn't follow Broodwar isn't a real TLer to me. On January 01 2015 03:34 wei2coolman wrote: Skt are heavy favorites to win worlds imo. But I wouldn't underestimate the chinese teams. Korean Air basically did three in a row, given that the one following Korean Air Season 2 was sponsored by Jin Air which is just a Korean Air subsidiary.

Most likely it's going to be complete opposite. After Chinese team with Koreans doesn't win worlds, they will just back to Korea with guys like Mata, Imp and DanDy going to retirement/military.

LoL popular game amongst teenagers I can see a connection here Anyway if they have the money to sponsor such a big LoL event it means they can easily sponsor bw events too. Good for us all !

There is no reason to compare those 2 games at all. Noone says that american football is successor of rugby and it's way closer than League and BW.

I think he means in terms of 'flagship korean game'. LoL is the only game that comes close to BW's popularity in korea. I agree with that. LoL is since 3 years ranked on 1st place in the pc bangs ranking with nearly 40%. Youths are talking about LoL all the time when you pay attention when you go to the cafe/subway etc
