Dada or pomelo? pomelo was better than dada so it was ultimate sacrifice to leave so that cloud could be freed dada was easy choice
Thing is that Pomelo gave up 2 positions simultaneously, so i'm going with him :D

So I just came up to check the result and I see OMG 3:0 Najin? LOL so owned, gonna watch the VODS (I've seen only first game).

Using Hyperbolic fanboy logic, we can see that in the final 4, CN = KR >>>>> BR = SEA = NA = EU
But seriously, getting rid of dada,is basically cheating

He was kicked from Alliance a few months before they won TI3

Again it proves, that some Shield players are massively overrated. Don´t get me wrong here, I don´t think Shield are a bad team. As a team, they are pretty decent. They have very nice wave manipulation, map movement and vision control. But as individuals, they have no, absolutely NO outstanding player. save is good, but not the one, some people make him to be. He is not the absolute best top laner, heads and shoulders above anyone else. He has a lot of games, where he plays pretty bad. How can you be THE best with that? Ggoong is pretty mediocre korean midlaner. He is absolutely nothing special in OGN Champions. Gorilla is a good korean support, probably in the upper half of OGN Champions - around Lustboy in terms of skill. That´s it, nothing more, nothing special. Watch and Zefa are allways harschly critizised and perhaps a bit too much on the other hand. But People should start to realize, that this Shield team never had any convincing win over a top tier team until korean regionals. look at their results of 2014:
Winter: Group Stage: lost to Ozone, won over AA and Dark ; Bracket stage: won over Xenics Storm, lost to Ozone and KT B.
Spring Group Stage: drew with Blaze (won in tiebreaker), won over IM2 and Xenics Storm ; Bracket Stage: narrowly won over slumping KT B, narrowly won over Blaze and then lost to blue. - This is most of the glory they ever got. 2 narrow wins over teams that are questioned of being a top tier team.
Summer Group Stage: drew with neoSword, Jin Air Falcons and fucked up KT B ; Bracket Stage: lost to KT A (in a close match though)
If you look at this matchhistory for the team, you see that until their wins against KT A and SKT K, Shield never really got any strong results in champions. Their appearance in the spring finals was made out of an incredible easy bracket (in comparison to the other side, where eventual winners Blue, Ozone and SKT K were sitting together) and some pretty narrow and lucky wins. This years korean regionals were the only 3 days, we saw Shield performing like a top tier team, ever!! Everyone should´ve been careful with buying into the shield hype, because worlds proved: it was a fluke and nothing else.

I think most people that picked NJWS to advance over OMG were basing it on imprisoned OMG.Cloud where Dada777 just gets styled on by GorillA harder than Amazing got dumpstered by dandy.
|
It's still pretty amazing considering how badly they lost in all stars vs SKT and won against this team who styled SKT.

But even I was surprised at how heavy dada was and how much OMG improved with hyperbolic dada training in groups to 3-0, was thinking 3-2 game either way with cloud or a 3-1 for NJWS vs dada

Also I think Royal is gonna win and be at the final without playing a single Korean team.
I am a bad person....

Wonder if other teams are going to start paying dada to be on their team so they can undergo the hyperbolic training like OMG. Seems like a solid practice regimen.

OMG: that wasn't even my final form!
*throws away dada*
Now witness my true power!!!

If OMG 3-0 or 3-1's SSW, I won't even know what to do with myself. Years of work by Monte to entrench Korean dominance as a reality in the minds of fans would be undone, NA/EU fans who felt somewhat on par with CN will be even more sure of the closing gap with KR, and Froskurinn and Crew will cackle maniacally on every China Talk for the next year.
A vote for OMG is a vote for LoL anarchy.

Or we can get the hilarity of Royal beating OMG and losing 0-3 in the finals again
