I think the idea of the10th place gets automatically into challenger league is a great step to bring lcs a step into the right direction. 9th and 8th place can still hold relegation matches. That way the challenger teams that wins gets the fruits of their works that they deserve. Still even the 10th bottom lcs team has so much advantage that they probably still win vs the best challenger team but you don't know how much a challenger team can grow with that kind of support. And getting the first challenger team spot pretty much tells that there is a lot of potential.

I think when Phreak has "serious voice" moments, he's great. He points out interesting tidbits (Namei's damage in post game stats yesterday) and/or offers valid criticism (pointing out that flash-out-jump-in "play" by Candy). Unfortunately, those moments are are the exception to the much more often "counterpoint guy so this desk sounds like they're having a conversation." a) I think the difference in his voice is extremely noticeable...he'd be terrible at a live poker table. b) Maybe the over-reliance on puns is just a coping mechanism with having to be that guy. 'Cause like it was brought up yesterday: who knows how much of that is put on his shoulders by other parties involved with scripting the desk personalities. note: I don't actually believe that...I think he relishes being argumentative as long as it stays all in fun. I mean, the way he goes out of his way to take shots at Doublelift is pretty telling. That said, there always has to be someone who is the "worst" at the desk, and we could be doing a whole lot worse than Phreak (I'm looking at you, guy on the far left).
